"Veinte años" (twenty years) is a bolero written by María Teresa Vera (1895 --1965), a guitarist, composer and singer in the Cuban trova style. The trova style of singing is one of the roots of Cuban music, originated in Cuba, around the late 1800s. In this recording, it is interpreted in the style of Frida's Revenge, with vocalist Julieta Mendez, and musicians Ernesto Villalobos on violin, Alberto Jimenez on guitar, and Luis Ossa on percussion.
