Hey Anthony, yes indeed. Wrong callouts :/ at the time I was a 6-months old pilot, trained in the US and this was my first landing in LSGK. Still, I don't fully understand now how I got it wrong then... but hey we only get better with time and practice !
@@SylvGeneva fair enough! Reason I asked was that I watched your video to prepare for my own first landing in Saanen, and I just wanted to make sure I was properly oriented. My PPL check ride was on Sep 27 this year and my flight to Saanen was on Oct 29, so that makes me even greener than you were at the time of that flight 🙂 In any case, thanks a lot for the video, it's great and it was very helpful for my preparation. Très beau vol assuré avec masetria comme d'habitude. La caméra grand angle est un plus pour partager ces sommets ! Bravo pour les incrustations, on regrette tout de même de ne pas entendre les échanges cabine et tour de contrôle... JN
Merci JN, j'espère te revoir bientôt à Lausanne pour faire un vol un peu plus long que le petit tour du lac que nous avons fait ... il y a au moins 6 ou 7 ans ! Pour les échanges, oui je n'ai pas encore de solution pratique avec cette nouvelle caméra. Bises !
Très joli ! Je me demandais quelle est la procédure en cas de panne moteur en VFR on top ? (j'ai entendu dire qu'en monomoteur on passe son temps à se poser la question d'où se poser en cas de panne) Tu as une cartographie assez précise sur tablette pour redescendre sous la couche nuageuse dans les bonnes vallée au besoin ?
Salut Fred. Évidemment, c'est toujours à l'esprit en mono. Cela étant dit, plus tu es haut plus tu as des options. Le jour de ce vol il y avait suffisamment de percées dans les vallées pour pouvoir redescendre au cas ou. Il faut par contre éviter les jours ou la couche descend sous forme de brouillard jusqu'à la surface... ce serait plus problématique ! Pour la carto, oui nous avons des outils précis, qui indiquent aussi en temps réel la distance possible en planant.
