Cheapest DIY umbrella base under $30
I was looking for an umbrella base but I didn’t want to pay $130 or 200 for a base. I found this option affordable and not bad looking. You can find the items in Home Depot or any similar store.

not to hot here in Indiana I'm a see if I can go to Menards and see if they have something similar this idea is better than r cement mix and having to mix all that
You can also add a planter marbles for sand or Rock put that cement piece down into the planter
They are concrete deck blocks. There are many variations, styles, sizes. Some have a hole in the middle some do not.
Good idea

What size pvc pipe did you use? It’s usually printed on it.

Haven’t seen a block like that here in the southern US with a round hole :/ great idea though
Maybe it’s a Canadá thing. I bought at Home Depot
I went to Home Depot - they had that block, but no hole at all in the middle. Did you make the hole yourself?
It came with the hole.
How did it hold up over time?
Yamel Payan like the first day I bought it 👍🏽.
How is now?
What type of brick is it?
How did you drill the hole?

@@edwardvargasperez3545 Is there a hole aisle?
i kept watching to see when he was going to crush his toes. not a good safety example.
Thank you for making this Video, this is smart! I just bought a beach umbrella from costco for only $25, without a base, so I can't use it in my yard. I will try your way, where did you find that block with a hole can fit that PVC pipe?
