Got a weird taste in music good combos and foot work tho
Could someone please tell me witch shin guards his opponent has(gold black gloves) thank you
they are from topking
what did you do to your knee? I tore my rotator rolling and have been out for 3 weeks now, no kickboxing at all, feels like im going fucking insane
Bro I feel you. I feel like im going insane too 😂 I tore my mcl during a jiujitsu tournament. Best advice is when it starts feeling better go straight into rehab and do what you can without pain, it will help your body heal faster.
@@dustinnguyen6400 Damn that sucks man, and ya that’s the plan, super tough going to the gym for legs and cardio 😂, best of luck on your recovery
@@bennys2950 thanks brotha

@@dustinnguyen6400 do you have Instagram I can follow you
@@Potato-fo1zq thank you 🙏🙏 yes @dustinnguyen_
Its great to see proper light sparring - exactly how it should be. Sustainable and a very low chance of injury. Would be better if there was some light coaching though.
Amazing, I've never did kickboxing before 👏 💪 👊
You should try it! Very fun
@@dustinnguyen6400 I will someday
Good pace and control. Strikes are heavier to the legs and body and light to the head. You would make an excellent training partner. Where do you train if you feel comfortable sharing?
Thank you! I train at 10th planet in Covina. Our muay thai program is blitz muay thai you should come thru!
Light sparring is a underappreciated skill. Being able to increase the speed but still maintain control is difficult. The Thais do a lot of light sparring. As well as Cuban in boxing.
Check out my new videos! Ive made some progress since then
Where's the blood I wanted to see a knockout!
Thats the homie lmao I got another video with a k.o. tho
Good job 👍
Brazil here, I'm a Kickboxing fighter I also really liked your videos I hope to see more of your content here on the channel, you gained another subscriber!!!
Thabk you brother 🙏❤️
Beautiful sparring, not to hard, but the pace is great!! LOVE IT!!!
Thank you!
This is to light
I HATE kicking men in the berries when I spar. I feel so bad.
Respectful light sparring👍👍👍

About a month hitting the bag mainly and sparring random ppl when I had the chance no proper training. My recent videos are when I got into an actual gym

Crazy that you have one video with 22000 views and no other over 1000. Anyway, good work. Just keep doing what you do and continue to grow
Yeah right? 😂 thanks for checking out my other videos and the support ❤️🙏
Like i teach my students. Controlled agression, technical agression transfers to fights minimizing injury and hesitation. Great work young brothers.
Thanks brother! Check out my more recent videos been getting better flow sparring sessions
Focus on techniques rather than trying to take each other’s heads off, good sparring partner.
Check out my latest videos!
Pretty nice work, from what I’m seeing so far guys...watch the power though: I’m only like 1:15 in, but I’ve already seen some quite cool stuff from you both, and several issues too. ✌️🙏 I’ll watch it properly later, but please don’t take my observations as insults...they’re definitely not. I’m just a fellow martial artist (Muay Thai purely nowadays), and am very good at analysing sparring/fights. I’m no expert, but I know my sh!t 🤷♂️ Keep your guards tight (both y’all) ALWAYS unless you’re safely outta opponent’s range. Hands should be glued to your temples permanently, with elbows tight (but relaxed) to torso/hips...unless you’re throwing a strike or safely outside their reach. Grey top has nice movement with the pivots, and I feel he’s trying to keep things light and technical, but ALREADY I see escalation: no-top going too hard early tbh...those inside leg kicks are about 10-20% too hard for technical sparring bro. Our inside legs have virtually no conditioning compared to outside...we all gotta remember that. ✌️ I loved that simultaneous shell-guard with stepped-off rotation into low-right round-kick. Not sure it was intentional...but lovely work!! 👏💪🙏
very controlled nice

Good job guys keep it up
This video should have exponentially more views... we need more examples of proper daily sparring at intermediate and lower levels 💯....one suggestion... at times, standing in the pocket and taking turns allowing shots to land at low intensity really helps to train counterstrikes.
Check out my latest videos! A lot of flow sparring
Good job guys. I am amazed at how hard some guys spar. It is like they have watched Dutch kickboxing videos and are in turn trying to emulate that. Have to wonder how many walk away with undiagnosed concussions.
I train at a Dutch KB gym & the intensity is quite okay, if they know you're not there to compete (almost 40 now, so no aspirations in that direction). They have a seperate day for harder sparring/competition athletes. First place I trained, however, it was headkick/95% power galore. I liked it at first, but after a few nagging injuries & little progression technique wise, I much prefer the more laid back philosophy. I love getting beat up condition wise a lot more than suffering trauma or injuries. ;)
Perfect example of what good sparring is about having self control using skill and technique helping each other to improve instead of letting ego's get in the way.
Thank you! Check out my more recent videos getting better at sparring at a good pace
I agree with that. The best sparring is done with headgear and more intensity though. You learn even faster what works and what doesn’t. I’d even say Dustin is more solid than his partner because he’s working on basics. Other guy is flashier but missing a lot of basic technique with his hands
Good Job @7:20 you do right round followed by right hand.... OK I guess, but no power in that punch because you already transferred all your weight to left foot. The sparring is light and no one is "trying to win" which is great, but don't let it devolve into point fighting [ fake right followed by strong right roundhouse is on the other hand a great move... they raise guard for punch leaving ribs exposed for kick ]
a better alternative to that combo would be 1, 2 and immediately follow up with the rear roundhouse to the head, Rob Whitaker does this with a lot of success or even 1,2 and then straight onto step out leg kick as well. I think this combo in the video could be done if you used the momentum from the roundhouse to launch into a superman cross, but its a bit advanced and probably too unpredictable for the level they are.
You can deliver a powerfull right hand after delivering the kick. You just need to pull back the leg at the same time as firing the right hand. Adesanya did this against Derek Brunson. Very effective
agree with you guys on "super man punch"... but that's not what he's doing there... and even then it is more tricky than powerful, although it is powerful and effective enough
Look like a fun session :) practice The guard in a safe environment, like you do in this video
Thank you! I got new videos if u wanna check them out a lot better than this
Good stuff!
