Sorry about the delayed response. It is to get a basic swamp early and make it a blank piece of cardboard for the most part. I play 2 swamps. Yes it is still good but you can play around it.

Thanks for voicing your opinion and sorry about the delayed response. Yes Modern is a meta driven league where people copy others tech. I do feel there is always areas to brew but people watch more videos from people on developed archetypes unless you are spike.

I like the format/style also and have been thinking about webcam for myself. I don’t think freak would be interested in that. But will have to think it over. Funny fact we have played team events together but never two headed giant. Maybe we should lol. 😂

Thank you. I rewatched the segment and did use the spawns to block 1 turn to keep my karn alive and would have a second turn if they didn’t draw the fetchland. I do think that digging for more lands is a good option, but if I missed would have been really bad and probably lost. Yes for the k command X=6 that would have been a much better play. Good call out! That would have ended the game on the spot.

Sounds good. Although if the talisman is not on the play yet when Void Mirror gets down, then it's the same situation.

I think I could have played around it better game 3. Probably would have had a good chance of winning if I had just grabbed the swamp. I got punished by greed. I used to play around it when it was more popular before and will just need to do so. I did hold up map to see if they played it turn 2. Void mirror is good but can be played around with my 2 swamps. Thanks for the comment. I could mulligan more aggressively but with eldrazi tron and the multitude of soul lands I feel that keeping a functional hand that can play a turn 3 4 drop is good. There are a few questionable keeps but felt like I had a plan with those hands.

Also the matter reshaper is kind of a meme for me. It has gotten a banning with the more powerful printed eldrazi. It used to win me games in obscure ways.

did we watch a different league? He mulled almost every single game and Devourer won him 2 games between selection and being a 6/6 attached to a removal spell.

I don’t think it is better but I am a bit biased. There are pros and cons to both builds. I just like the mindstones to draw cards late game when with the green version they are just not useful late game. I have seen people cut thought-knots for Trinisphere and think that is good depending on your meta. I think thought-knot is good in this deck. Thanks for the comment and question.

Not a bad suggestion and probably should have thought about that more. I feel they have answers to it and eventually just get enough mana to play through it easier. Thanks for the question and comment!

I think it is better for me and I like it in the current meta. I have seen a lot of people get stuck on no green sources without stars and someone taking out their talismans. Though I know both versions are good. With blood moon I typically just at this point try to play around it as much as possible with mind stones and also keeping up k command to ramp. I have been playing this colorless version in variation for years. Thanks for your comment and question.

I would say the thought-knots could be considered flex slots. I see people playing Trinisphere in its place. You could also do an all is dust in place of one of the breakers but that card has impressed me. Thanks for the comment and question!

That is assuming that Karn resolved. If they counter and take the ring they have a chance to get back I to the game. I had a threat on the battlefield with pressure. It was on them to do something. It isn’t good to jam into counterspells. Thanks for the comment and point of view.

@@C00KIE_NINJA they were at 3 how is not jamming the ring correct? how are they going to efficiently get out of the position that they are in if they are at 3 with no life gain in their deck? also the K Command play is 100$ better than just jamming at Sorcery speed. that is why Breach Eldrazi is consistent at what it does, it plays on both turns to make games even harder for the opp to keep up with.

They had invert polarity to steal my ring and they play their own copies of the one ring to reset it. I again had a threat in play that they had to make a play I order to not die. They did not make that play so they died. Imagine if they invert polarity my k command and dig for an answer to my only threat that is not good for me. The best option is to do nothing and make them do something. Then once they do something jam.

Yes it is a good card against this build. But I do play map and 2 swamps. It hasn’t been very popular.

I think it is probably a mix of both. It is fun for me and I think thought-knot is good in the current meta. I also think the green deck is good, but like just being colorless and mindstone is good for a cantrip late game.

I mean that game was very over and I could have chose plays at random. I still had 1 k command, 1 dismember and an all is dust. Opponent had 2 cards in hand. I ended up finding a thought-knot I could cast that turn and then leave them with something to have them play into my all is dust next turn. I think either play is fine.
