TWISTED WIRE BANGLE
Просмотров 11021 час назад
If you would like to create my Twisted Wire Bangle, just cut 4 to 6 arm length wires (the more wires you use, the thicker the bangle). You will need a hand drill, table vice, tape, jewellery pliers and cylindrical mandrel and Whammer hammer!
BOTTLE CAP EARRINGS
Просмотров 5614 дней назад
Here's how to create a pair of earrings out of 4 bottle caps! Tools required are: Whammer hammer, Steel block, Hole Punch Pliers, 0.8mm Wire (to make links), 2 x Ear Wires, Round and Chain Nosed Pliers, Wire Cutters
CREATING WIRE BEADS
Просмотров 20114 дней назад
Did you know that you can create your own original beads out of wire alone? In this tutorial, I show you several designs: COILED BEADS, POM POM BEADS (using a Coiling Gizmo tool), RIBBON, BARREL, SCRIBBLE, CAGED and WIGGLE BEADS ... amongst others! You can use 0.8mm (20-gauge) or thinner gauges of all types and colours and design very original pieces of jewellery with these techniques. COILED B...
TEA LIGHT CANDLE HOLDER
Просмотров 13021 день назад
I have been making varied designs for Tea Light Candle Holders for a number of years, but this 'flower' version is my most popular design, especially at my Christmas sales. I used 1mm aluminium wire for the framework and decorated it with 0.4mm gauge twisted vine with crystal beads.
BEAD WRAP TECHNIQUES

This tutorial was requested by Cheryl, who wanted to see some bead wrap techniques and these are the ones I use the most, but I'm sure there are plenty more! In this video you'll see 8 techniques: HERRINGBONE 00:14 - 05:18. DIAGONAL WRAP 05:18 - 07:51. PILLAR 07:51 - 11:19. BRIOLETTE 11:19 - 14:25. BOW BROOCH
Просмотров 6021 день назад
I had a personal request for this Bow Brooch design. It can also be created as a necklace, a keyring, or even put on the front of a handmade greeting card. I used 0.8mm for the structural frame and 0.4mm to weave the seed beads on.

SPIDERS (3 variations)
Просмотров 13728 дней назад
A lovely follower called Fama, requested a spider tutorial and because I have designed three different versions over the years, I thought I would include all three in this tutorial. I start with with the simplest and quickest to make: the BLOB spider, then the 2-BEAD (or not to bead, that is the question?) and finally the BRAMBLEBUM! These are definitely not scary spiders, so enjoy making them!
XMAS TREE CENTREPIECE
Просмотров 13428 дней назад
I had a special request from Jane Thomas for a beaded Xmas tree! So here is my wire version. You can decorate it with beads, crystals, dangles, tinsel, glued on sequins or flat back crystals! Anything goes when it comes to Christmas! I suggest using 1mm gauge wire of any type for the structural frame and 0.4mm for wiring on any decorative pieces.
BIRD BROOCH
Просмотров 556Месяц назад
Here's a fun Birdie Brooch, which can be put on the front of a greeting card to make a gift and card 'all in one'. My cat Leo, loved getting involved too! I used 0.8mm (20-gauge) for the framework, 0.4mm gauge for weaving (and colouring in) with seed beads, plus a ready made brooch finding for the back. I do hope this inspires you to create your own versions.
SEA GLASS RING
Просмотров 328Месяц назад
Requested by Cheryl, this ring is a 'work in progress'. The sea glass pieces used as centrepieces have to be small and flat to work with this technique and depending on each sea glass piece, I found it to be a bit of a 'hit and miss' success! I used 0.8mm (20-gauge) for the ring frame and 0.5mm for the binding (0.4mm and 0.6mm will also work). But do have a go, as it might work better for you! ...
SEA GLASS JEWELLERY
Просмотров 124Месяц назад
If you've picked up some sea glass and want to know how to turn into a piece of wearable jewellery without having to drill it, here's plenty of inspiration using wire. For wire wrapping small pieces, I use 0.5mm/0.6mm wires and for the bigger chunks, I use 0.8mm gauge. These techniques also work on for broken pottery, flat pebbles and semi-precious stones.
Tassel Earrings

This simple little project was inspired by a friend's new outfit. She couldn't find the right colour beads to match, but I was able to find the right colour scheme in my bag of textile pom-poms, which I had bought for another project. I purchased my pom-poms from: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BRV8NR2G?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I also used 1mm aluminium wire to make the cage, but for a m...
Zulu-style Beaded Pendant
Просмотров 131Месяц назад
With my early childhood spent in Africa, I have always loved the stunning tribal beadwork designs from that continent! So, I have used that inspiration to create this circular beaded pendant, which can be varied in many ways to suit your personal taste or bead selection. I have used 1mm aluminium wire for the main framework and 0.4mm gauge for weaving. However, any wire will do for the frame, a...
