I have hidden pave diamonds on the sides of my engagement ring. My wedding band is not affected as it goes inside my engagement ring. The engagement straddles the wedding band on both sides, 3 bands total. Just a design for you to think about. It's comfortable and beautiful.

I have a new instructor in cosmetology and I came in with welcoming energy. I learned some things from her, I have to admit but I think she be messin with me. She was told that I was advances and she doesn’t seem to like that. My engagment ring has partal diamond on the sides that end were the neighboring fingers meet. Kinda like a half infinity ring. The original ring my finace gor me had ridges on the side and my hands are riddled with ezcema so we had to change it to the half and half.

Often the first time you wear a ring it will feel uncomfortable because you are not used to it. Many times after about a week you wont feel the band unless it is poorly made and very rough. Also, better made marquis center stone will have cap on that point to protect you and your clothing. Buying higher quality jewelry can help balance out your desire for beauty with your need for comfort

Could you talk about where to learn about different faceting within stone cuts? Like the difference between brilliant and baguette is pretty obvious, but what about the more niche faceting? Is there a way to learn about those?? Or is more on a storefront to storefront basis on how the choose to facet stones?

I have watched so many of your videos, i was able to help one of my close friends buy the perfect engagement ring for his fiancé! It was platinum instead of silver, more than 2mm width band, the center stone had double prongs, and since it was high set it had a cathedral! Then, when my husband upgraded my engagment ring, i was able to get one that was pretty, and structurally sound (as opposed to my original engagement ring, which wasnt too great in that regard). I would have known nothing if not for your help, thank you!

What I did is buy fake rings on Amazon with different styles to which one I like best and yes the ones with diamonds around the ring were super uncomfortable I got mine with small diamonds around that was way better and comfortable

Always wanted opal or moonstone for a wedding ring (engagements are a waste of money to me) but they're too soft :( I'll probably go for a pink or blue topaz instead

The 1st ring is absolutely gorgeous! I love marquis cuts and bezel set stones. And the jewels on the sides of it are beautiful and make the ring even more beautiful!

Alternative to a pearl?

People should remember that many of these make perfect jewellery, just not for finger rings. Earrings are PERFECT for pearls since really, hardly ANYTHING touches your ears. Necklaces to a lesser degree, as they have to sit on skin or clothes, but still, much less chance of damaging exposure.

I had ring with green emerald and in 1-2 months noticed it had chipped 😢 I love moissanites. Wear them for years and never had any scratches on them.

I really wanted a tanzanite because of how beautiful the color is but decided against it before it's too soft. Still bummed about it lol
