What a remarkable interview!!
You guys stand side by side!!❤❤
Joe, love you man, but 3 mins to ask a question?
O emocionante encontro de duas lendas!!!
Well done, Cathy! 👏
Not a fan of Bonamassa but LOVE Peter Frampton!!!
Cathy, I'm not a fan of audience shot videos, but I'm so glad you posted this which should have been pro shot. I'm a HUGE fan of Peter Frampton and date back to Humble Pie. My band played 30 Days in the Hole and onto Frampton Comes Alive to him collaborating with The Doobie Brothers on Let It Rain
Thanks for uploading, terrific interview. Cpl of absolute legends
The hell with the talking do with the guitars in your hands while you're sitting back bullshittin a mom boys I know you got to do it cuz I seen it I talked to us with them guitars
The first time I heard Bonamassa's solo on the studio version of Sloe Gin, I thought it was teetering over a Clapton style phrasing with Frampton's tone and punctuation! So this open air interview with him makes total sense! Love it!👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing this
Love JoBo and Eric Gales right behind him. Seriously, impossible to compare Guitar Gods! I say COLLABORATION 💯🎸
A VERY CLASS ACT ON BOTH PARTS.ROCK ON
very interesting interview...and I agree with Joe....Eric Gales is the best living guitarist.
I'm a huge fan of both. My only wish is that I could understand her. Her mumbling really puts a damper on her performance. You can hear and understand her guitar very well. Perhaps a vocal coach would help.
First saw Joanne in Atlanta with Allman Family Revival. Truck road problems threw show way late but JST came out firing on all cylinders! Devon Allman commented, “If you didn’t know Joanne Shaw Taylor, you do now!” Everyone should!
Superb , joes a great interviewer
Sweet vid!
Love this and what a fitting tribute to Steve Marriott you could feel peters true admiration and respect for him they where a blistering live band rock on Peter and don't forget Greg Ridley Jerry Shirley and Pete's replacement Clem Clemson all great

Awesome
Enjoyed ❤
Enjoyed this what a guitar player 😎👍
Enjoyed this 2 great guitar players make a album 😎👍
2 kings on their thrones
Great post, THANKS!! So many great slingers out there..Philip Sayce, Lance Lopez, Greg Koch…… EG mentions Marino and TROWWWERRR 🤘😃🤘
A'men Eric.. accept me as a human first
I fine it interesting that Eric Gales didn't mention Hendrix among the list of guitar players that his brother turned him on to. Hendrix not only played the Fender Stratocaster upside down like Gales...Hendrix is considered to be one of the great guitar innovators of all times. In 2006 Eric Gales played with Buddy Miles and Billy Cox (The original members of Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsys). Eric Gales has covered some of Hendrix songs in his live shows...so how do you forget to mention Hendrix?
He's probably so tired of the early comparisons. He's distancing himself. :(
@@sethtanner5707In my opinion, playing the Stratocaster upside down is the only comparison...and Eric Gales plays amazingly. However, Hendrix was such an electrifying charismatic showman with the guitar, quiet/cool persona, style, creative songwriting (Hits) and badass stage outfits (51 years ago) continues to project an ageless Hendrix into the future. When ever someone frets the neck of the guitar with their right hand...visions of Jimi Hendrix will be remembered. Don't be tired...be energized!
Not necessary….Hendrix passed it on to SRV, SRV passed it on to Eric and watch out for up and coming Kingfish Ingram….
@@dmcpopo4027 Legends don't pass, they captivate and inspire.
Eric plays upside down, Hendrix played left handed. Very different and a big part of EG's unique sound.
Two of the greatest guitar players. Would have loved to have seen them together in a concert.
This is where it all started
Eric blows Joe out of water in my opinion.

That was great.. Thanks for sharing 😃
Eric’s explanation to Joe’s first question is genius in it’s accuracy and simplicity.
That was a beautiful thing right there!
Smokin Joe grew up not too far from me. It’s always humbling knowing he’s a local 😌
Great guitarrist!!! Joe and eric!!!!
This interview makes me feel good
2 diet cokes?! @20:40 ....what would Lemmy say to this?
Great performer. Have seen JST a few times, last one just before lockdown in March 2020. Strong, talented and personable. Developing along the way. Good to see latest collaborations with JB.
The way Eric keeps flapping his lips and tongue...is a common behavior of someone who is on meth. I'm not saying he is a drug user...only that behavior is common what meth users do.
He did some time for drug related stuff. So yes he did drugs for a while. Not sure if he’s currently using.
They should do an album together.
Two world class cats that are equally down to earth, humble & loaded with talent . Loved this interview . Well done lads 👍
Egos and Icons. I’d love to play with you both.
2 humble!
Fabulous interview, Well done joe for keeping quiet while the master talks, great muso questions.. I dont think peter really realises just what an amazing influence he had in sooo many ways from releasing FC alive.. I wish this interview couldv laster 3 hours
I cannot figure out why Eric's "new" release with Joe producing it has not been released. They were supposedly through with it end of last year ............ many thanks Cathy, do you have any info on why it's not out yet ? I am on Joe's Forum regularly, have not seen anything, we are all in the dark
This was great! Thank you both and to all involved.
I got to walk right up in front of her playing at a bar called The Upper Room in Albany ,NY.She was the act before Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple.Great show.I purchased a CD that she signed for me.
I saw that tour in Buffalo and Syracuse..JST should guest on a BCC album! I had tickets for the Albany show but the set lists were the same both nights, so I saved the NYS tolls 🥴
Eric bleeds blue. The guitar needed a way of expressing itself and chose him.
