Errr, they already do! The Fiesta Rally3 is a 3 pot! Probably only a matter of time before it gets dropped into a Rally2 car if they can get the performance out of it.

I guess the best of all times was the Lancia Delta Integrale.. with 500 HP + at the tap it ruled the uneven roads at the time. Even today with all the electronic wizardry at disposal not so many cars can accomplish what it did.
