How about modge podge instead of liquitex?

To me both are the same results, because a lot depends on how you handle your tools in this case your mount and paletknife.

Beautiful & thank you ! Question: do you leave the latex on the glass or do you peel it off after resin dries ? I have latex but not clear I’ve used it to keep resin off bottom of my coasters & it is tough to get it off ….

Hi Rhonda, You're the second person I see using Liquitex varnish to attach the skin to the cab. I thought that was a great idea since people have issues with Diamond Glaze. I tried it (wiped it down, pressed hard till the varnish seeped out), let it dry overnight, cut it out and a corner lifted. I thought, that's not good. Decided to see how attached it was and pulled. It lifted right off. Have you had this issue? I ended up using E6000. Your work is beautiful by the way.

I am trying to cut my skins for my wine glasses using my circut machine but it does stay on the mat properly. How do you get yours to stay on properly for cutting?

I very much enjoyed learning something new. I'm familiar with resin art, but, not so much the paint skins. What size are the tiles you used in this project? ... 9"x9"? ... 12"x12"? Do you purchase sample paints from Sherwin Williams? What was the brush you used? Again thank you for the lesson. I'm finding it much more interesting to try & combine various art forms.

Hi Rhonda, omg!!! I’m so so glad that I’ve seen your videos. I am studying you. Hours and hours of watch time. I will attempt this pour after a few more hours of study. This painting is just absolutely breathtaking and I just have to try it. After you poured the sand you continued to tilt. I can’t understand how the ocean didn’t run into the sand. Anyways Rhonda, I noticed that you didn’t call out the colors that you used. Did you purposely withhold the colors or could you help me out and tell me ? Please? I’d be so grateful. I will of course try it on a smaller canvas first and I will share it on my channel. Im so excited to do this. Thank you so very much

This is one of the best videos I’ve seen for anybody just getting started.

After scoring the edges, place in a sink or shallow dish with plain warm (105-125 F) for about 5 minutes. The skins will lift right off. Be careful not to stretch the skins in the process!

I think I got it now. The swbc paint has no color in it. If it had white added to it, the colors of your paints would change and lighten. That's why I was confused. This recipe is your PM ✅️ and you use it 1-1 with your acrylic paints. I am using liqudex basic paints right now. Thank you for your help.❤

I know you did the instructions in great detail, but I'm still confused. The mixture 3 part swgbc and 1 part minwax pollcrylic clear gloss. Is this your pouring medium? If so, why do you add minwax to your color paints first? I have all of your ingredients except the glue. What could I use instead? Thank you for your videos.
