Hallo Martin,wir hatten uns letzte Woche in Dänemark getroffen und ich bewunderte Euren Katamaran. Jetzt habe ich auch das Refit Video im Netz gefunden und ich muss sagen alle Achtung. Richtig schön gemacht habt Ihr das. Meinen Respekt. Welche Folie hattet Ihr noch verwendet? Ich wünsche Euch viele schöne Erlebnisse und immer eine Hand breit Wasser unter dem Kiel :-) Dirk Marquardt
Hallo Dirk, freut mich sehr, dass dir unsere kleine Diashow gefällt! Wir sind jetzt wieder in Dänemark, nach Schweden, allerdings diesmal in Klintholm. Aber nun zu deiner Frage: Wir hatten eine mittelpreisige Folie “Tech Wrap“ benützt. Du findest sie bestimmt über Ebay, Amazon oder einfach googeln. Es gibt einen Händler in Deutschland. Wichtig: Offene Kanten vorher primern und anschließend versiegeln ( gibt's jeweils von 3M im Handel). Viel Spaß und Erfolg beim Nachmachen!
It took a weekend. I've practiced a bit before on our kitchen furniture... the first hull took about seven hours to be finished and the second one only about four. Well, you don't need to be Houdini for a good result. Just get some good advices on RUclips for car wrapping. It's not that complicated. Good luck!
Hello Elliott thanks for the compliment :-) I used a vinyl wrap originally for car wraps in carbon look. this vinyl is stable and not so easily scratched. i' m really happy with it and can recommend this material. Regards. Martin

Why did you choose to wrap your hulls and top side instead of painting it?
...easier to do, faster, result looks more professional than painting...

An amazing job on her, she looks brand new now. What material are you using on the side of the hull to make it silver?
