This song fit Tenebris a bit too well so of course I had to make an animatic for it! Here is some context! It all starts when Tenebris was a child. WHY WOULD YOU EMPHASISE EURYLOCHUS'S FEAR AT 1:22??? DO YOU WANT ME TO CRY???
Remember he's a r*p**t. He uses his position and power to impose himself over others, often leaving the victims to take the blame alone for his lust. He's comparing Odysseus to another of his "projects", as his judgement system allows his abuses to go on. He's reminding them it's his system alone. He holds all cards. It's his game alone. It's honestly spine chilling and creepy.
I imagine Zeus showing an image of Larxene (Kingdom Hearts) while describing his judgement proccess, through his metaphors of what another's pride is in his eyes. No one deserves to suffer that. But people like her don't deserve redemption or forgiveness either.

I love amping up the tragedy of the moment just letting the sorrow sit on Eurylochus’s face. Beautiful. Ctimene is gonna have some words for Odysseus.

Well, I don't thin't think you can say they topped it. Two very different styles in both art and animation. Both are done so very beautiful.

This is the ONLY animatic I’ve seen of this song that doesn’t end with Odysseus’ crew, upon realizing Odysseus chose to save HIMSELF, didn’t charge at him with murderous intent.
@WriterKing92 When Eurylochus says "But we'll die" it sounded to me like he had accepted his fate and to some degree saw it coming. In my mind I imagen that the rest of the crew would have been angry about this decision but would ultimately follow Eurylochus's lead and if he didn't charge at Odysseus, neither would they. After the Mutiny I feel like they unofficially made Eurylochus captain in a way.
I always imagine this scene where Eurylochus just stands around defeated, realizing how everything went wrong and accepting it. Meanwhile the crew has all sorts of different reactions - most panic, some trying to hide in a mislead belief that it might spare them, some begging Zeus for mercy, picking fights with each other or yelling at Eurylochus or Odysseus - some jump from the ship but still die - and there's few who accepted their fate, standing around or breaking down
Probably most animatics take inspiration from the one shown at the Livestream, which honestly fair it was pretty good and also so dramatic, I get why Jorge went with that, but I love when animators give animatics their own takes too, it adds something new to the scene.
I believe that the crew charging at Odysseus is the prophesied “Brother’s final stand.” It’s a lot more fitting than Mutiny.
I am SORRY to bring the attention away from the gorgeous animatic but Zeus with LOVE HANDLES is something that I DEFINITELY needed. Periodt, and amazing animation as well 🤌

not to be a dick but maybe because its like 0.1 frames per second so its really good but as an animation i would expect more movement but still. This looks great

I originally clicked on this because I saw a person with dark hair and glowing eyes and assumed this was Magnus Archives content but this absolutely slays and the art is fantastic so I am in no way upset

@bobtoby5589 I do actually! I am taking a small break to work on some personal projects but I do have another animatic currently in the planning stage!

@Luverse_ For the purposes of the animatic, yes, but in the canon of the story she did not. Erwyna can only see so far into the future. I just have to make some minor tweaks to fit the songs lol
the lore is very cool im excited to learn more
