Interestingly, the BBC video logo, which was used between 1990 - 1997, was first introduced in 1988 - as a replacement for the original COW Globe. The globe was still used on VHS tapes in 1990, when the new logo was introduced to VHS releases and the globe was fully released by the new logo in 1991.

It’s weird, I was born in 2004 and I don’t recognize most of these logos. Yet every time I look at this video, it unlocks some deep memory in me and I don’t know what it is.

Just thinking about the fact that these logos and intros where made with computers big the size of a room and costed like two apartments, and now you can do much more amazing stuff for free with open source software and a normal laptop, it blows my mind.

Even with all copyright music removed is a better option.

I’m the person who originally created this video and I appreciate that you were able to get this back onto RUclips. This was one of my earliest videos that I uploaded back in September of 2018. This video compiled all of the logo videos that “Little Whore Records” uploaded at the time of the video’s release. I honestly don’t know why this video was taken down, but I’m certainly that it was likely due to Copyright. Also, a little fun fact: this video had no editing done at all. I literally made this by screen clipping an entire playlist that I put together. This is noticeable with the multiple buffering sections and the random notification that pops up at 1:45 . Anyways, thank you once again.
