Amazing Song
Hey there! I just wanted to say this is some pretty good metal and overall a nice instrumental track; great job! :) I really can tell you put thought into the melody in the main riff and it is very much appreciated. It is catchy, melodic, and the sweeping gestures in the background really help add to the euphoric soundstage. I'd personally recommend checking out Intervals if you haven't heard of them. Your music reminds me a LOT of his work and I think you'd find a lot of inspiration in his music (in particular, his use of melody). I personally love his whole discography but some standout tracks are I'm Awake, Meridian (both of these are from The Shape of Colour), Luna[r]tic (from Circadian), and Impulsively Responsible (from The Way Forward). If you want to check out something more technical/challenging that still focus on storytelling, The Mantle is a great pick. They only have one album, called The Mantle, and it's some of the best progressive technical/speed metal I've heard in recent memory. If you want to hear more experimental progressive metal, I'd highly recommend The Resonance Project & Asymmetric Universe. In my opinion, these artists push the boundary of progressive metal/djent and I think you'd take inspiration in their specific type of fusion. Lastly, if you just want something to bang your head to, I'd really recommend Thrailkill (they used to be known as Mammoth). I think you'd really like his most recent EP, Detach. That's an EP I jam out to probably once a week; it's really good stuff lol. Shameless plug, but if you like these artists and want to hear similar music, check out my BandCamp page!
