When I was a kid i only had 8 ganes for my NES, my grandma bought me this one. This was the first and last zelda game I ever played. Never beat it.

I was 13 and waited outside in the cold for the release of this game 18 years ago, I think it's safe to spoil the basics.

I was 6ish when I played this game? It was my very first Zelda game. I only recently learned other people DONT like it as much as I did. I felt it did SO well at highlighting just how fucked Hyrule was if you didn’t save it, and Midna is such a far cry from every other companion Zelda has ever introduced. I really appreciate how slow it started, it really made everything after that feel amplified. You went from herding goats to trying to save the world, and it really put into perspective how Link really was just some farm kid. I also thought the wolf link mechanic was SO unique compared to other games, like you said it was really fun to navigate the world in both forms. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk ❤️ I may be biased, I just want everyone else to see this game the way I see it

this was my first ever resident evil (i was like 5 years old when i got to play it) so this game still has a special place of my heart even though i didnt understand what was happening. even after all these years, despite the backlashes and knowing the whole resident evil timeline (still confusing until this day), i still love this game :>

Theres only 2 things worst than this game: 1. Getting kicked in the nuts; 2. The possibility that Capcom one day remake this disaster of a game

Well for us re fans who started with re1/re2 it wasn't scary to begin with. I mean there are a few moments like dogs, regenerators etc, but the game as a whole is a bit goofy, like Scooby doo like almost at times. The scariest classic re games would be 2 and CVX imo.

I gotta revisit this game at some point, I remember enjoying it but not as much as BfBB and I was too young to put my finger on why (besides that Sandy is the best character in BfBB). Unfortunately with how hard it was to get the rights to get BfBB remastered, having to get the rights from Paramount for the movie (not to mention for the Goofy Goober Rock) it's a true pipe dream that this one will be remade, especially since this game was not nearly as successful or widely loved. Cool channel man--you're way ahead of where I was at your age!
