Took a trip to the ring for vacation and was treated to this incredible taxi lap. The video doesn't do the ride justice. I couldn't believe how fast the car could corner and turn.

The fact after the mod done this car definitely sounds like a v8 for being a 3.6 v6 😂
When you’re in track mode is it “too loud” like does it sound like a straight piped civic ?

Yeah. A bit of a low reading dyno. These typically put down 414whp on average
Quick question. How difficult was the maneuvering of transmission bracket and bending the transmission lines on the install for this? It’s literally the only reason I haven’t purchased yet as that part of the install looks a bit daunting. Everything else should be smooth on a car with 1800 miles. Thanks! Love the videos.
It wasn't to bad I thought. I think I have some pictures floating around I took. The hardest thing was wiggling the trans cooler line out of the way. Most people in the FB group were able to do it on the ground. Luckily mine was made easier with the lift. DM me if you want some pictures

From what I’ve heard if you do downpipes and a tune it makes 60-130 go from like 12.8 seconds to 8.5

Did the check engine light stay off with the spacer?
It's temperamental. It'll turn on for 20min of driving and turn back off for several hours of driving. it's done that a dozen times now. But has been off now for about a week.
After going to the catless, how’s the smell for fumes etc? Picked up my ‘22 CT4V BW last month and looking to purchase these same downpipes. Thanks!
Smells like any other catless vehicle. You'll mostly notice it (if at all) when stopped with the windows down or in a garage/etc.
I like the V6TT as it allows the car to have better balance than a V8 would. However no amount of exhaust work will ever make it sound good. I have "My Mode" set to quiet on the exhaust. If I want a car to sound good, I take the Corvette.
The Borla catback actually sounds really good. No idea if they make it for the BW yet, but the ATS-V is essentially the same car so I'd imagine it sounds identical.

I have a blackwing from Sewell Dallas--same color, 6 mt. You can't pass emissions with these downpipes, correct? Sounds awesome, by the way.
Laws are different in every state. Some do exhaust sniffers, some read ecu codes, some do visual inspections etc. So the best answer is "it depends" lol

@@Dynamicjarvis32 I'm actually running these instead of the assassin. www.fabspeed.com/fabspeed-universal-90-degree-o2-spacers-with-catalytic-converters-pair/ I have the TO fuel cam and Gigs throttle body installed now. Green filters on order too. When tuning is available, I'll probably have that done. I'm too far away to go into their shop to get it done now though.
@@shiftdowntv4511 no issues with a CEL with the spacers? So the fuel cam works with the blackwing, what does that do for the car I’ve seen people install them but don’t know what it does really? I wanna get the throttle body did you notice a difference after the install?
@@Dynamicjarvis32 really the fuel cam and TB are mostly just getting ready for a tune later on. The ECU in these cars starts to dial boost back on the stock tune. So you get more tq earlier in the powerband but nearly the same peak hp and tq. Also no CEL after 250ish miles on the mini cats yet.
Notice or feel any difference in performance?
At this point is mostly just sound. It probably picks up an extra 2 or 3psi down low for more bottom end tq, but the ecu starts to compensate and pull the boost back at higher revs. Really needs some kind of tune.

@@erikthedon7214 I put some miniature cats in there from Fabspeed and haven't had a CEL yet. ~250 miles so far.

@@whozcam just after the downpipes. The ones up by the turbo manifolds don't matter for that
Do the downpipes smell? Usually catless downpipes emit a very pungent and bothersome scent. Just curious if these also do the same.
Looks like they have 2 types epa and resonated . Says resonated trigger cel and epa doesn’t . I’m guessing the epa smell fine
I had some fuel smell when I was breaking them in idling in the garage, but the last 200+ miles I haven't noticed anything. Maybe stopped in traffic or if people are following you too close. It still has the full stock catback exhaust.

Blue V has a evo 9 turbo. White VI is stock turbo. Both @ 22psi.

Battle? More like a cruise.. How much PSI is each car running? I also have a Evo 5 running - E9 turbo, E9 upper IC pipe, GReddy FMIC kit, Apexi N1 downpipe, Fujitsubo exhaust, Extreme fire cop kit, Walbro 255 fuel pump, safe tune on 94 octane but running stock boost (15psi)
