Montana: Part Four (Glacier National Park - Avalanche Lake, a bit of Lake McDonald)
Avalanche Lake (via Trail of the Cedars) is a popular hike in Glacier National Park. Even on a rainy, cloudy day, it was worth the trek into the woods to see this treasure. This video also contains snippets of Lake McDonald, and my last Montana sunset of the trip back in Paradise Valley!

I stayed on the St. Mary side of Glacier National Park for one night. The next morning, I entered the park early and drove the Going-to-the-Sun Road to the Logan Pass Visitor Center.
