I got it. Its good. But ive tried most cars and all tracks and im back on original ac and iracing already. There just isnt enough content atm to keep me playing. I knew this going into it so im not disappointed. I believe it WILL be great in time to come. If you can afford to buy it now do it to save afew bucks in the future. I probabaly wint touch it until more content is released. My 2 cents

Gosh you're right when it comes to the audio, it's such a massive immersive difference compared to some of the other ones.

Some great races in here! Some unfortunate laps, but I can see improvement happening in there. I imagine there's a lot of rust to shake off as well as a new computer to deal with :)

7:25 I'm glad you addressed the brake noise being annoying. Maybe it's authentic but boy is it not great.

Herd you had some technical issues during this one, which is a huge bummer, but i'm still excited to check it out and see how these longer races tend to go :)

24:45 Yeah why are the brakes so loud? Are they just not "broken in"? Usually when brakes sound like that, they are failing.

You mentioning the Canyonero unlocked a bunch of old Simpsons memories. Gonna have to watch some clips after the race XD

Great clean race! The debris update is really neat, the added sounds are super cool immersion. I imagine that it slightly affects grip and force feedback on the wheel a bit too.

Yeah this track is brutal, especially with the elevation changes, i imagine that really hecks up your traction on those corners

I can see what you mean about being able to drive in the rain makes you a better driver. It teaches you to be more reactive to all circumstances and not just try to hold the line you trained on.

I can't imagine how much concentration it takes to keep the car on the road for one lap, much less 20 minutes haha

Good on you for giving it a shot. Oval racing seems like hamfisted competition to europeans but the nuance and difficulty is on the same level as road racing, just in a different way. Its a lot of fun.

His fault 100% Arca is a good starter class to find out if you enjoy oval. In oval you want to be loose and drive off the right rear to save your right front. Use the gas to turn it essentially

Rookies is tough. Under powered car and a bunch of rookies that are still learning race craft. I didn’t go back and look at the incident closely but looked to be a bit of fault by both drivers. The guy behind you may have overdriven the corner a bit and you looked like you were using a lot of wheel getting nto the corner as evident by the oversteering you were experiencing. Looks like your car slowed in the middle because of the “drifting”. That combined with the guy over driving the corner behind put you both wanting to occupy the same spot on the track at the same time. Just my opinion…I’m not an expert by any means.

Looks like a good start! You'll get smoothness with time, and learn to slowly unload the wheel instead of counter steering. Turn with the throttle, and try the racing line for a lap or two to see where the braking zones are on weird ovals! Your online race looked really great. I am a VERY green racer too, but those tips helped me big time and I adore oval now. Can't wait to see you out there!

I can definitely see how you can get into a flow state with something like this. Aside from the stress of being so close to everyone else at all times.

7:10 I think that's something I agree with for most "multiplayer only" games. Sometimes I want to just play against the AI and chill out and not be competitive. I feel like the engine noise is much louder than the mic volume. The audio ducking works great though!

Great race! Don't be too hard on yourself for lap times! The guy in front of you is setting the pace and you just need to find that opportunity to pass 'em :)

Sorry Danny you were going so well and then dickhead came along but chin up it happens to all of us you always have the next race and it's a good car just watch your breaking the tc loves to kick in and take you off track

It's cool to see some of the strategy of longer races! I can imagine that these kinds of marathons don't always work great for casual multiplayer, but it seems fun

With all the turns on such a small course this seems really claustrophobic. Great racing! :D

The ghosting only occurs in lower lobbies to mitigate against the lower skill level competing. Though atrocious driving is present in all dr classes the frequency of death is reduced as you rise

From all the radio chatter during this race, it sounds like everyone had a bit of a tough one haha
