hola puedes montar 2 gtx 980M en sli que es un buen rendimiento siempre y cuando el juego tenga soporte sli, tambien puedes poner GPU mas actualizadas como la gtx 1060, 1070, quadro p3000, P4000, p5000,. rtx 3000, rtx 4000, rtx 5000, entre algunas otras opciones, puedes usar un adaptador M.2 sata para el puerto 2 de la gpu mientras usas una gpu actualizada, es lo que yo recomiendo, para eso debes tener el bios desbloqueado. para las GPU actualizadas debes mantener la salida de video con optimus activa, se hace en el bios en la opcion de video y eliges SG.

hola tengo entendido que hasta la rtx y la quadro p5000, con la unica diferencia que tendras que flashear la bios de la GPU quadro para que funcione, la serie rtx necesita modificacion del disipador de calor. @@attilabeats If I remember correctly if you can use GPU + IGPU..... if you have an LVDS screen it is mandatory to use (GPU + IGPU), since the Tesla M6 does not have EDP output, but if you have LVDS, if you have an LVDS screen you can use calmly nvidia optimus or not, as you like, that is (GPU + IGPU), or simply GPU alone.

In the manual of the m6700 they refer to the cable between the display and the mb as Lvds, and so far nothing that would hint towards ascreen update in the past (I read about the ability to upgrade the screen in terms of resolution and to IPS quality) but on my machine that seems to be not the case. The Nvidia quadro k5100M GPU is a really old card, I have no knowledge of updated drivers to run this gpu, but maybe among the forums you will have luck finding a modified driver. I'm sorry I can't help you in this case, I would tell you that you could use nvcleanstall and try gpu drivers with the same chips but I don't think there is an updated driver that can be adapted.

Hola, la Nvidia Quadro P2000 de destock es un poco más lenta qué la versión Quadro P3000M mxm, el rendimiento es parecido al de la gtx 1060 yo diría luego de probarla qué es un poco mejor, además de poseer mejor hadware y más actualizado, puede soportar un overclock más agresivo gracias a la calidad de sus componentes. la serie nvidia usually give problemas con estas laptops, tengo entendido que solo la gtx 680, gtx 970, m3000m son las unicas gpu de nvidia que valen la pena, pero es mejor la serie amd, firepro m6100, hd 8970m. Bueno ya vi donde es, no me había dado cuenta de ese bajón de consumo, puede ser que tenga la laptop en ese momento en modo de energía equilibrado, si te preocupa actualizar y temiendo a aceleraciones con esta GPU puedes estar tranquilo no sufre de esto, por más juegos qué he probado aun todo esta bien, recientemente actualicé a la rtx 4000 y subiré los videos que tengo de la rtx 3000.
