Some good shit. I cared too much and gave too much early on.
I liked the "protect yourself first" reference example in an airplane.

Hey cuz, I cant use my fb messenger. My fb acct was hacked and its suspended and I don't even have a phone number to text you. I'll probably have to start over
Yeah, I had a feeling that you were hacked when you message me about 2 hours ago telling me how you saw my name on PCH listing and you wondered if I heard from them. Then you sent me picture of two full envelopes full of money and how I should click on a link you sent me to message the agent on how I'm ready to apply for my winnings money from PCH program. Thank God I'm not stupid or desperate enough to fall for something like that. If I've never signed up for something, then obviously there's no way I could have won something!
@@christopherwanamaker828 and it's so hard to get anyone at fb. Meta is who deals with that now. Anyway, I have a new acct.
GREAT VIDEO, STAY READY SO YOU DONT HAVE TO GET READY!!!
Y2K and fear that my childhood home's electric well pump wouldn't be able to run if the power went out on 1.1.2000 is what got me thinking. I was an EMT for 6 years and saw all the things that could ever go wrong too so now I just try to be ready for anything. I like watching ex-military people go over what they like to have.
Being realistic and prepared for just about anything is a fantastic mindset and constantly improving your preparedness and your financial wellbeing go hand and hand with one another. The better you are financially with your own personal finances and with preparedness products the less worried, stressed out, or fearful of the unknown you will be and the easier it will be for you to recover from any unexpected situation that arises. Please let me know what did you think of the overall material of this video and I have other preparedness videos on 24-72 Hour Survival Bug Out Bag Building and Vehicle Preparedness and Readiness advice as well. I also have several Personal Financial Literacy advice videos to checkout as well. Please check them out and let me know what you think of them? Thanks

Good suggestions! Having a list really helps!
I plan to watch this later, in my mid-20s now trying to get a home in the next 5 years.
Do you watch kitboga and triology media? Theres also catfish. Great channels
So basically the scammers are racists
Mate that was a huge slow deep breath at the start lol
I feel terrible for the elderly who fall for these scams. The only way to stop scams is to educate and spread the word. So, thank you.
Great video!! Thanks!
Not a problem! Thanks for the recognition and compliment I really appreciate it! I hope you watched the whole thing or come back to it to finish it, if you didn't. I hope you learned a few things or it at least gave you a few ideas to consider. I just like sharing my personal knowledge and experiences to help others if I'm able to. If you weren't aware I have 45 videos covering 25 different topic category areas on my channel. So, please check them out as well, if you wish and if you do please enjoy. @christopherwanamaker828 I will be back to watch it all. I'm older (60) and what to be prepared.
After two minutes of your life story from birth to now: I stopped watching and moved on. Try going with a index card version rather than the encyclopedia.
@christopherwanamaker828 He was giving feedback on your video. That’s how to become successful on this platform is to listen to your audience. No need to fight him. Thank him for his feedback and maybe take it into consideration…
Good start keep up the work and maintain your progress upon emergency readiness. Keep sharing among your videos with those who are willing to learn and seek knowledge of maintain their ability to be independent during good and bad times.
Thanks for the compliment, applause, and recognition, I appreciate it very much! I just love sharing my personal knowledge and experiences with others on this platform knowing that it could possibly help someone out there. The way I look at it is if I can help one person in the world from one of my topic area category videos, then it was all worth it right? Because I helped one person improve their quality of life in one area! And I keep coming up with newer topic idea categories all the time. I currently have 45 videos covering 25 different category subject topics. Just recently I created videos on how to give a good Fight to Unemployment and have a high chance of winning. I also created another newer video topic on how to dig into ones Auto-Insurance Coverages and fine-tune them to save more money, understand your coverages better, and how to get more discounts on ones Auto-Insurance as well. All these things are the adult details we should have been taught in high school during our Senior year to better prepare us for the challenging and difficult adult world. So thanks for the compliment again and I hope you enjoyed this videos content and by all means please checkout my other videos, if you wish and enjoy!

More often than not your resume is being read by a computer searching for keywords. Put keywords (skills/certification/licenses) that will get hit by SEO. Your resume is to get the interview. Your interview is to get the job.

I'm working on obtaining more funds here soon and then later down the line I'm hoping to get the parts to build my own Tactical 10/22 Bullpup and either a P90, AR-15, or Marlin 1894 Rifle and add them to my Bug Out Bag gear!

My regret is I haven't watched this video before I met an American months ago whom I thought someone who wants to work out our relationship but after he went back to your country he ghosted me. That was my first time to meet a man and try to in a relationship at the age of 29 years old but I messed up because I trusted him when he decided to come to my country. Suffering now of betrayal and disappointment.
Do you have some advice for me coz im still in pain everyday. It bothers me.
I'm sorry to hear that happened to you and that you recover from it in time, but you have to understand and be smarter than the average bear. If any foreigner guy is coming to visit your country and region and that guy is not specifically their to find love or move to your country and region, then 99% of the time he's just looking to find and obtain foreign pussy, to hit it and quit it, so to speak! There is a major transition happening within the United States among younger generations who are talking about it on tons of different podcasts how marriage doesn't make sense for men and it only benefits the women. So, more young men are believing in marriage and serious relationships less and less and so we are getting more and more comfortable being single and remaining single because if we focus only on ourselves are lives are happier, less stressful, we save so much more money, we do what we want without needing a partners permission or blessing, and if we feel really lonely we either go find someone to hookup with, possibly even a friend or neighbor, or we go online and we hookup with an escort/happy-ending massage parlor once to a few times a year and that tides us over for awhile. In some ways women bring value to a man's life and in other ways they bring stress, anxiety, pressure, high-expectations, and pain to our lives. So, it really depends on the individuals and their relationship dynamics and personal beliefs and values and if they are not on the same page or understand each other very well because they don't communicate well and one loves to be in control but the other doesn't, those are very dangerous and unhealthy relationships. Simply put relationships are complicated and messy and none of them are perfect. Many men and women either have to high of standards, like me, or they have to low of standards like my Mother, Father, and older brother have had and because of this they had horrible and nightmarish significant others. The two biggest factors to me in order to have a healthy relationship with a partner is you have to love and believe in yourself 100% and so do they, you both have to have similar virtues, values, beliefs, dreams, and goals, and the major deciding factor that will determine whether you have a healthy good relationship or not is how well you both openly communicate with one another and do either partner have to ask permission from the other to conduct an adult activity or make a adult decision on your own? Because, since you are both grown adults you should never need your partners permission to work somewhere, wear something specific, get together with a male/female friend or family member, etc. You should always keep your partner informed of where you are and what's your game plan, but you should never need their permission, if you do its a very unhealthy relationship because then your partner isn't your partner, their your parent and they have power and control over you because you gave it up to them and didn't fight back for your rights, voice, and freedom to choose for yourself as an adult. The only exception to this rule is if you both talked about and agreed on a specific dollar amount and if you want to buy something that's over that amount, say like $500 or more, then talking to your partner about it beforehand is a good idea, otherwise money problems and bad spending habits always cause loads of issues, problems, fights, and end entire relationships!
There's no money involved and I dont like asking for money. I just thought what he said about me moving there and our plans was solid but it was he's strategy to gain my trust.
I wonder what's the taste of that coming from Asian country. A lot of ingredients 😅
It’s been a long time since I’ve donated, $115 is a lot more then when I did it lol, it is risky to do so understandable why it’s paid, my buddy got a bad stick one time and nearly lost his arm cause that giant needle they use nearly severed his artery and they didn’t even recognize it. Thankfully his gf dragged his butt into the er to get it looked at. They don’t let me donate anymore since I have an abnormal high something or other in my blood it gets rejected, oh well. Pretty cool technology though. Good on you for doing it.
For 72h that kit is so excessive. I get it though my kit started similar at 70lbs but that was as a silly newbie, my full setup is down to 43lbs now and that’s including 50% water capacity and a weeks worth of food, and 3 computers… I’m sure you could cut that weight down or at least replace unnecessary items with food and water.
I appreciate your comments and your not the first person who's stated the obvious, thinking and stating that my bug-out-bag seems heavy and excessive. However, there are multiple factors that you have to take into account. First, my Personal 72 Hour Survival Bug Out Bag currently weighs 66.4 LBS, the type of backpack that I use is a heavy duty and well made 3 Day Condor Assault Backpack with thick fabric, lots of zipper storage pockets, a lot of military strap webbing on the outside, vertical and horizontal strapdown cargo straps to fully secure everything inside, and it has great back cushioning, heavy duty shoulder straps, cushioned waist strap, and a buckle tie down chest strap with all of that to consider once the bug-out-bag is on my back and fully strapped down to my body it automatically takes 1/3 of the total weight off my body and shoulders, so a 66 LBS bag feels like 44 LBS, so there is an advantage to consider right there. Second, there are some food items inside like several cliff-bars, a single MRE, bag of dehydrated fruit, some tuna packets, and a few Peak Refuel dehydrated food packs as well, so as I use up my food supply the overall weight will decrease. Third, as I use up any other expendable items like duct tape, glow sticks, Nylon 550 cord, etc the overall weight will continue to drop. Fourth, my bag has a full Summer/Winter set of combo clothing, so if I have to abandon my vehicle, that also has a bunch of other Emergency Preparedness Supplies in the Thule lockbox container above and in the glove compartment and other hidden compartments throughout the vehicle, then all I would do is grab my bug out bag from the back of my car trunk and my extra pre-worn Danner boots in the box and then get to a safe location before changing out of my civilian clothes to my Summer BDU Uniform clothes and better pre-worn tactical dark brown boots that go well with the woodland camouflage uniform that blends into my Pacific Northwest environment. So, if I abandon my civilian clothes and just wear my survival uniform clothes, then once again I'm cutting down on more weight as I'm pulling things out and using them. Fifth, the Zombie Tools style Bowie Knife also weighs a couple of pounds, so once I change into my BDU uniform I can remove it from my backpacks hidden exterior waist strap pocket area and attach it to my belt and my leg with the leg strap it comes with. Sixth, I'm constantly looking for and researching newer multi-functional durable worth the money items that hit the market, then I conduct RUclips review research on those items to find out the positives and negatives of those new products to find out if they are worth money or not, if they are I'm all about switching out individual one off items for multi-functional durable good quality items, so I'm always making constant upgraded improvements to my bag and gear. So, overall your right it does seem a bit excessive but that is because what your seeing is just a large all combined together high quality set of outdoor survival gear and equipment inside a backpack that will be immediately torn through as soon as I get myself to a safer location and that might even happen right at the vehicle itself before abandoning it and if that happens I might even sift through the entire contents of my bug out bag and leave certain things behind or I also might hand off certain items to anyone else within my party as well. Overall all I'm saying is it may appear to be excessive from most other peoples outer point of view, but in reality I've built a bag that has very high quality multi-functional gear and capabilities and I do go hiking and camping with it at least once a year for several miles and I'm always considering how can I improve upon my gear and overall bag and what newer 21st century products are constantly coming out so I can make more and more improvements slowly overtime. For example, at one point in time I had the Biolite Campstove Bundle system with a grill and 6 liter kettle pot for a cooking stove system and that system is a great system if there is more than one in your party, but being a single guy it was a bit bulking and heavy, so I switched it out with a more compact system of a Firebox Folding Campstove with extension grill top, a Biolite 2 liter tea pot kettle, and a medium size Bear Bowl that can collapse down and be a unique lightweight frying pan or boiling pot all-in-one. So I have built my bug out bag to be something I can fully handle and it will never stop changing and evolving because its a 1000x better than what it originally was when I first created it back in March 2014. My bag is not made for everyone else, its made for me, what I can handle, what I think I'm going to need and use out there in my local environment, but its also always changing, improving, and evolving with higher and higher quality multi-functional worth the money gear! If you watched the entire video, what changes would you make to my bag? What would you subtract from my bag and what would you add to it, if anything, and why? Also by creating this type of video content I'm making other newbie preppers aware of the better quality 21st century outdoor gear that's out on the market, that they may not be aware of, for them to consider improvements upon their own gear. It also makes them aware of other category areas that maybe they never considered covering like first aid, hygiene, or even Summer/Winter Combo Clothing with there Emergency Kits. In my videos I'm not telling anyone to build their Bug Out Bags exactly like mine because mine is better than everyone else's, I'm not saying or stating that at all. If I moved to Hawaii, Arizona, or Florida my Bug Out Bag would definitely change to fit those climates and environments!
@@christopherwanamaker828 I did watch most of it, though my kids distracting me at parts I might have missed the food part I was thinking you didn’t have any or any ready water in there. Like I said I get the idea, I was of the same school of thinking at one time too “have something for everything” but realistically that doesn’t work, not and be mobile anyway. For example the Bowie and the short zombie sword are cool but they are both too big to be practical (except maybe for zombies) and fill the same niche, so you’d end up favoring one more then the other and just lugging around the other one for no benefit. And yeah 66 feels like 40 on your back but it doesn’t do anything for your knees, balance, or feet/ankles which are gonna feel every ounce of that 66lbs. You might consider an off-road cart or wagon if you really want to have everything, then you could add more food, better shelter, more clothes, and decent tools for making solid shelters. Like a full size axe. While I don’t have any military experience. I have been somewhat of a pepper since I was a little kid having lived in tornado alley, and I did spend eight months living on the streets out of a bag, before really getting into prepping as we understand it now for the last 18 years. My suggestion for your bag would be to really consider what your plan would be, and whether it would be mostly in the woods or in the city because you’re going to need different gear depending on where you’re going to be more than anything. For example, one way I cut down weight tremendously is I looked hard at my set up which initially I had planned for primarily city, but also wilderness survival and stuff for both scenarios but it causes problems carrying useless stuff for the city in a kit for the woods and vice versa. I traded my hatchet for a lightweight saw, and my giant knives for a trustworthy simple knife with a small back up. I ditched the tent and sleeping bag for a tarp and blanket in my city gear and added a hammock for my woods gear. Also living here in the northwest, we have Rocky damp soil most of the year so in my estimation a hammock set up would be better than the tent, it’s lighter, quicker to set up in the rain and you don’t need flat dry ground like you do with a tent just trees, which we have in spades. but I didn’t need that in a city situation because there’s no trees and there’s lots of overhangs bridges and other places to tuck into a simple tarp and blanket is more than enough to take a nap in an alley, or under a bridge. I had a bunch of different options for woodstoves, alcohol, stoves, and the like, but after considering it more, one can of butane, and an itty-bitty tiny burner that fits inside the pot with the butane is enough to cook a weeks worth of meals, which is more than enough for my plans. And lightning all that excess gear actually left me with enough room to carry with me an entire weeks worth of food. I’m not trying to tell you what you have to do. Just trying to give you some advice from somebody who has been there in the situation where I had to live out of a bag for a long period of time and also someone who probably likes high end gear as much as you do lol. Also, one thing I would add, is your nice survival rifle, the Bandelier ammo all over it, and on the butt stock will not stay there if you go sloggin through the woods, It would be better to have just a few rounds for situations where quick reload is needed, and a clip that has good retention than a bunch of rounds that are gonna fall out in the bush as you go through it.
I understand what you are saying and what your concerns are about certain things when it comes to my bladed items I have a full military Gerber multitool, a high quality bicycle hand saw with handles on each side, I have the 10-in-one Klax Tomahawk Multi-Tool Axe Head which I guess they don't even make anymore but can be a useful tool for building shelter outdoors in the wilderness, then I have my Zombie-Tools Bowie Knife which I would have attached to my left hip and belt once in uniform, and then I have my Zombie-Tools Sword attached to the right side of my bag which can be used as both a high quality laser sharp machete and hand-to-hand combat sword and if I have to ditch the bag and end up losing the machete sword then I would still have a high end laser sharp Bowie Knife on my left hip or if I have both and I team up with someone I have an extra bladed weapon to hand off to someone to watch my back. And these Zombie-Tools are high quality and expensive blades because they fold their steel like the Japanese do with their katana's and they are laser fucking sharp! Your right there is that cool factor to them but they are useful for different circumstances and situations. I understand what your saying about am I building bug out survival bag for a city, town, or the wilderness? Well, I'm attempting to build a very high quality multi-function universal 72 Hour Bug Out Bag for all 3 of those environments. How am I doing that, you ask? Well for example you were talking about ditching your sleeping bag and tent and sticking with a tarp and hammock, which is fine, but I have found newer multi-functional 21st century gear that is pretty lightweight but has multiple uses and functions such as the Crua Hybrid Tent with Rainfly which is both a one person ground tent and hammock tent in one and you can combine the exterior of two Crua Hybrid tents making two individual tents into a single tent that holds two people and tear down the interior wall barriers and each come with a carrying stuff sack and total weight is 5 LBS each the only thing I had to do is making some modifications to the stuff sack to sew on buckle cargo straps in order to attach it to my backpacks bottom military molle strap webbing on the bottom. As for a tarp, I have a single military issue woodland camouflage rain poncho that has holes in all for corners so it can be strung up like a tarp and even catch rainwater if need be. Then I purchase a super high quality sleeping quilt blanket from Enlightened Equipment company, which is customized for me. This high quality quilt is a blanket or sleeping bag rated for zero/0 degrees, the exterior has a double layer of thickness to prevent rips and cuts, and I had the exterior color be emerald green but the interior be traffic cone orange so it could be used as a VS-17 Signal Panel if need be for signaling for help on the ground as long as your visible and what does this sleeping quilt blanket weigh? Nothing, that of a small camping pillow, even while in a Sea to Summit Stuff Sack from REI. It feels like it weighs about the same as a flimsy pair of flip flops, its so light weight and warm as fuck, its incredible. So my gear is so high quality and multi-functional that most of it has multiple purposes or capabilities to it, trying to make it all universal for all environments as much as possible. As for my cooking stove system I'm trying not to have to carry any kind of fuel so I have the Firebox Folding Campstove combined with the Biolite 2 Liter Kettle Pot which is like a tea kettle but the handle is a Thermo electric battery pack generator so I can use a tap reading light with it or even recharge my phone or Biolite super comfortable headlamp as well and then then my foldable compact Bear Bowls, which was presented on Shark Tank, and it weighs nothing and can be a frying pan and then be modified into a boiling pot because its a micro fiber flexible material with a tin base to place over a flame, altogether my entire cooking system weighs 3-5 LBS. Not saying its perfect compared to your setup or anyone else's, mines just different and very durable. As for your suggestion for my survival rifle, I myself was already starting to think about that. My Savage Model 42 Takedown Up and Over two caliber survival rifle does disassemble into a upper and lower receiver and can be placed in its carrying case and then just pulled out and assembled when needed and I have a cleaning kit and Ziplock bag in a pouch of the carrying case with extra 410 shotgun rounds and 22 LR rounds. But I bought this rifle during my beginning phase of building this bug out bag, when it was simply a beginner 24 Hour Bag. I have been considering getting an upgrade of either a $700 ZK-22 Bullpup tactical 22 Ruger Rifle which is a 22 Ruger upper receiver mechanic guts put into a modified P90 Buttstock Lower Receiver kit that you have to assemble yourself or a Marlin 1984 .44 Magnum, preferably a two piece tactical version like Mr. Nobody had in John Wick 4 movie. That would be the ultimate tactical survival rifle in my opinion, maybe one day! So as you can see I'm always constantly thinking about how to improve upon my gear and bag at all times and I make small improvement adjustments slowly overtime. The only things I can think of that I still do not have either with my bag or in my vehicle is a Garmin SOS Signal Communicator and some form a Night Vision Monocular! As for your suggestion for the off-road cart or wagon, I was already starting to look into something like that and I've discovered the Hipstar Hiking Wheeled Trailer system with a strap buckle belt and I might even be able to attach my whole bug out bag to it and not have any weight on my back or shoulders at all. These could be very useful for all the homeless people everywhere to use to pack up and create their own mobile hands free bug out bag luggage systems! @@Giantmidgetmotochannel
@@christopherwanamaker828 oh for sure, yeah there’s a damn good reason the homeless steal all the shopping carts lol it’s basically a necessity to have wheels to haul everything you need around, especially in their case when compactness isn’t in the budget. I really like the over under single shots, I wanted to get one and some of the inserts for the 410 barrel that allows for all types of ammo to be used in it. It’s definitely on my to get list. I just finished adding some computer stuff to my setup, I had one, but I’ve expanded it to 3 mini pcs (only 2 would probably go with in some scenarios) but with them I’ve added the ability to download apt satellite imagery, store and access all my important digital copies, photos, my entire movie, music, thousands of digital books, audiobooks, and a few choice TV series, collections, Wi-Fi hacking software, as well as code cracking tools for digital devices, offline website downloads for a few dozen useful websites like Wikipedia, webMD, Gutenberg library, etc, and portable HAM RX, all in a EMP proof pouch that weighs less then 2lbs (can’t remember where I left my little scale lol) and slips into the admin pouch on my bag. It’s an ever evolving project.

the dedication and work you put in is crazy i belive you deserve alot more views and noticed , very intresting video
Thank you very much my friend! That is probably one of the nicest and most positives comments I've ever gotten about my channel and videos. Just FYI, I think the proper word you were looking for was recognition, not noticed. But I understand what you were trying to say! I try my best to create useful content that I can share with as many people as possible that could possibly improve their life, environment, and world possibly. I just love sharing my personal knowledge and experiences if it can truly help others. I wish I could volunteer at high schools for seniors or even at colleges to go over these many different topics on how to live in the real adult world, face things, deal with things in a more positive manner, and how to constantly fine-tune every aspect of ones adult life and style to overall improve ones life entirely. I currently have 40 videos covering 22 different topic subject categories. The most popular seem to be the different Bug Out Bag Building videos with the different cooking creation recipes coming in second. It surprises me how unpopular the 5 different Financial Literacy videos and the Home & Vehicle Preparedness & Readiness Advice videos are! Knowing that getting your home, vehicle, and personal finances are just as important as having and building a high quality Bug Out Bag is! But by all means please checkout all my other videos, hit the like button, subscribe if you haven't already, please make any comments or ask any questions on any of the videos, and if you think other people would like them and find them helpful and informative please share any of them on other social media platforms you may have. Share and show them with other friends and family members if you think that some of my topic info knowledge could overall help them improve their lives and environment. Thanks and you have a fantastic day my friend!
@@christopherwanamaker828 hi do you think you could make a video about quitting gambling addiction ive been addicted for 2 years now and need to quit ive lost 10s of thousands at 19 if you could make a video of advice thank you man
Got all the gear but your are out of shape.. its all worthless without that.
Probably way to heavy to carry any real distance
I understand why you would think that, but that is just an assumption. My personal 72 Hour Survival Bug Out Bag weighs 64 lbs and yet I can and have gone on 7-10 mile hikes and campouts with it. This 24 Hour B.O.B. I built for my older brother is way simpler and lighter, than my personal 72 Hour B.O.B. The trick is, and I believe I stated it in the video a couple of times, the specific 3 day condor assault pack backpack is special designed to balance and distribute the weight once you have it on your shoulders and you strap it to yourself completely with the chest and waist strap. So, that it takes off 1/3 of the total weight once its fully strapped to your body. So, my personal 72 Hour B.O.B. weighs 64 lbs but feels like 43 lbs. So, this 24 Hour B.O.B. that weighs 47 lbs feels like 31.4 lbs, that's not much. How much someone can carry depends on each individual person and have they gone out and trained and field tested it and made adjustments overtime. I tell people having a B.O.B. of some kind is only half the battle, knowing what you have and how to use it properly, field testing it, adjusting it, making improvement changes to it slowly overtime, is the other half the battle. Also where is the best place to keep your B.O.B. ready at all times, in your vehicle 24/7 out of sight, out of mind, because your vehicle is never to far away from where you are located! Please don't make negative assumption comments about things your not a subject matter expert in. I worked in logistics in the Army for 13 years and 3 deployments and I worked with FEMA & Red Cross representatives in both Liberia Africa and in Colorado Springs. I have done my research homework and have a lot of personal field tested experience in B.O.B. building, home, & vehicle emergency preparedness management!
Great stuff. Is your brother finally using his bag. I thought it was insane when hundreds of thousands if not millions of people around the world rushed to the store in massive lineups to buy toilet paper during the most contagious pandemic in history. And then everybody wondered why the virus spread so quickly. Only thing I disagree with you is that when you buy something buy the best quality that you can afford the first time. I've been prepping for over 5 years and I haven't upgraded one single piece of gear because I always buy what I want the first time around. I'm a retired Carpenter and I learned this after watching Carpenters over the years buying and throwing away cheap tools and finally after many many tries they go and buy a quality tool that doesn't break. 30 plus years doing carpentry only one piece of gear broke and I only lost one tool which I got back from my customer 2 years later. It was only a paint scraper so no big deal. After watching the war in Ukraine you realize how quickly a major thriving City can become a desolate landscape overnight.
Thanks, but unfortunately, when it comes to my family preparedness, organization, and field training are not in their vocabulary. In the 7 plus years, my older brother has had his awesome 24 Hour B.O.B. he hasn't field tested it once yet. During the first several months he had it, he didn't even keep it in his car trunk. He stored it in his bedroom closet, while working 70 miles north in Olympia WA as a Red Lion Hotel Manager and so I asked him what happens if a disaster strikes while your on the freeway or at work and you have to abandon your vehicle and yet your $1500 B.O.B. is sitting in your bedroom closet many miles away, but yet you need it with you now to get to safety/home? What good does it do you sitting in your bedroom closet? It needs to be in your vehicle 24/7 out of site, out of mind, because your vehicle is never to far away from where your located at! As for your one comment, I agree that some products you can go cheap on or that works really well and maybe you never change it out for newer products/gear, it really depends on the product. We as a species are constantly creating and coming out with newer multi-functional, durable, and lighter weight gear and materials and I just like the idea for some products and certain product areas of your B.O.B. gear you can get ride of lets say 10 individual items that take up a lot of space and weight for possibly a newer 10-in-1 product that has been tested and reviewed on RUclips by someone else and it got great reviews, so this new type of product can do the job of 10 individual items all-in-one, take up less space, and lighten the total weight of your B.O.B. in general and may even bring in a few new capabilities you didn't have before and at the same time you can take your 10 individual old items and put them up for sale on like OfferUp: For Sale App and possibly get some of your money back after awhile, so its a win-win by making certain upgrades within your personalized B.O.B. overtime, but your right, you don't have too if you don't want too, but no one is forcing you too because its your personalized B.O.B. create and build it how you want it and like it! Here soon a friend of my older brothers is going to borrow his 24 Hour B.O.B., to get together with me, and go out to the wilderness to conduct some hiking and camping on one of our many Pacific Northwest waterfall hiking trails, to fully field test his bag, and possibly have me build him his own personalized 24-72 Hour B.O.B. which I have done for about 2 dozen other people over the past several years. So, at least my older brothers $1500 B.O.B. is getting ready to be fully field tested by someone here soon! I think a lot more people, around the world, are beginning to think about and take Emergency Preparedness more seriously and invest in preparedness throughout different areas of their lives because our natural disasters are becoming more and more frequent and extreme with each passing new year and those who prepare will be way better off and way less stressed out, fearful, and concerned because of their level of preparedness. You can't prepare for everything, but it is definitely better to have and not need, then to need and not have! That's why I have different category videos on more than just high quality 24-72 Hour B.O.B. I also have videos on Vehicle & Home Preparedness & Readiness Ideas, Financial Improvement Advice, Utility Bill Life Hacks, Scammer Warning Signs Advice, etc. in order to share my knowledge and experiences to help others in many different areas of their lives, so they can be much more prepared, organized, independent, and self-sufficient in multiple areas of their own lives. I also have a 2 part 72 Hour Survival B.O.B. video that you may want to checkout and watch as well, on my channel!
@@christopherwanamaker828 I remember in the past when your brother kept his Bob in the closet. I forgot to sub you in those days so I'm doing it now. I'm going to check out your other videos sounds very interesting as well. After seeing what is happening in Ukraine you realize how quickly a modern city can turn into a desolate wilderness in no time. I am pretty well geared up the only thing I do sometimes is store extra preserve food when I do my groceries. Cheers from Canada.
@@James-ke5sx How do you know Stewart? And by all means hit the like buttons for the videos you like and make any comments, suggestions, or ask questions on any of the videos!
@@christopherwanamaker828 I'm in Canada and do not know Stewart. You mentioned him in an older video not carrying the BOB you made for him and he might sell it if I remember correctly. I had a feeling you would wonder how I knew that. I gave up on my friends and family. I doubt they even have a battery let alone a flashlight. The world is going insane. Iran is sending armed drones to Russia. I'm stocking up on extra preserves etc.
@@James-ke5sx Gotcha, in one of the older videos I explained how I built both my brothers Stewart & Greg each of their own 24 Hour B.O.B. However my younger brother Greg had no interest in a B.O.B. and if I left it with him, he was planning on selling it behind my back and keep the money. So, I kept it and later sold it someone else. My older brother still has his and keeps it in his vehicle trunk at all times!
That’s a lot for 24 hours
Well its better to have and not need, then to need and not have. It can be more fine tuned at anytime or it can be switched out with other more multi-function durable items, but the great thing about this 46 LBS backpack is with the 3-Day Condor Assault Pack is that once you get it up on your shoulders and fully strap it down to your body, it takes 1/3 the weight off your body or at least that's what it feels like. So a 46 LBS feels like 31 LBS, so that a big deal, so that you can have more items that allow you to have more functions and yet 1/3 of the total weight is removed with the help of shoulder, waist, and chest straps! The more capabilities, the better off you are and the more comfortable you are in a survival situation!
Seems like that bag would be better named a 72 hour bag. Lots more stuff than just for 24 hours.
Use this one for your guest if they fly from out of town.flying rules have changed so make sure they have something and give them to people who need it
I forgot to add that you can also add a fried egg to it to turn it into an amazing egg, bacon, cheese, deli sandwich!
