Discussing the new Billy the Kid photo released in 2024 by the podcast chasing Billy
The new evidence and the new photograph uncovered from sheriff White Hill Grant County New Mexico that was released to the public by chasing Billy. The cardigan kid is just incredible. I am very interested in it and happy that we finally have some new evidence and a new photograph of the kid and believe 95% that it’s it’s him maybe more maybe 98% and hopefully will believe 100% very soon.

After reading Steve Sederwall's book and another book about the cold case investigation I think if Billy the Kid wasn't killed it was John Miller. The University of Arizona exhued his body and the first thing you see is the buck teeth. There is no record of this John Miller until August of 1881 when he married Isadora in Las Vegas NM. The University of Arizona refused to release the DNA results but in a deposition their rep stated that they did not think Billey the Kid was buried at Ft. Sumner. That area is worried about tourism but if they released any information known it would increase tourism there.

It is so nice to see a fact-filled video about Billy the Kid instead of those claiming that a dishonest, feeble-minded old huckster called Brushy Bill was Billy the Kid. It is amusing to watch the Brushy Bill Cult Followers to grasp at straws trying to make the case for their delusional hero being the Kid, but it is also disgusting to see their promotion of a phony imposter so he can steal the laurels of the real person, Billy the Kid.

Very selective scenes presented from a blatantly unionist perspective. How can you overlook what Barksdale's men did to the forces in the Peach Orchard and at Sherfy's farm? Or the way he forced Federal cannon back and ripped through the enemy lines time and time again? Even a Federal officer said that it was the most gallant charge he had seen by anyone during the entire war. You make it look like these "good old boys" that were nearly toothless and like something out of a "Deliverance" type movie were no match for the enemy. This is utterly ridiculous! Sickles Corps was nearly torn apart, yet nothing is said about it, other than the brief statement that Union commanders had to rush reinforcements. Longstreet had to fight half the Union army with his two divisions. Does that not warrant mention? The scenes showed Barksdale's men being blown nearly off the planet, but hardly a Federal casualty was depicted. This is blatant rewriting of history. Why must you denigrate the assaults led by Lee's exhausted men and make it look like there was never any doubt of Union victory? I've watched many of these videos, but am sorely disappointed in this one. Those brave Mississippians deserve a better retelling of their exploits that so nearly broke the Union line. And, as far as the railroad cut, not one mention was made of the near slaughter of the 6th Wisconsin and others attacking Davis' brigade there. One Union soldier is said to have fallen for ever foot they advanced between the Cashtown Road and the unfinished railroad cut. Yet all we see is a hesitant Confederate standing still while an Iron Brigade soldier bashes his head in! Gentlemen, you are capable of writing much more accurate, detailed stories. Why can you not give due honor, respect and accurate reporting to the brave men of BOTH sides?

Lee ordered him to ride around the union troops (if possible) and meet up with Gen Ewell. Stuart did those very things but it took him two days too long in Lee's eyes. Interestingly, Stuart's first action at Gettysburgh was so clash with Michigan Cavalry with George Custer at the helm.

@@Snowboarder16The uniforms are nothing more than Halloween costumes, the deception of combat completely wrong for linear warfare. Iron brigade is wearing cross rifles instead of French horn. Cross rifles was not insignia used until the 1870s for infantry, I have no idea how they messed that up. On a smaller note this obviously was filmed in a desert. The way they convey the story is kinda goofy they trying to be gritty and it just comes off as stupid. A good series to watch is Civil War combat. Not perfect but pretty well done for the time. Shiloh fiery trial is very well done. I recommend that and you will see what I am talking about. ruclips.net/video/9PK7VCN_q58/видео.htmlsi=FiQZxA5oO2hQQMN_

@@DixieYankee I agree. That rendition of a rebel yell is ridiculous. Victorian era men had more dignity about themselves as confederates were not just aimless, bad toothed, yahoos. Sure, they had battle yells, but not in the extreme. Also, the location? Obviously done somewhere in California with the type of vegetation and roll of the land presented (like one of those sets from the old westerns of the late 30's thru 50's. Too dry, dusty, and not plush (even during a raging battle) as the fertile farmland of southern Pennsylvania is known for...even in the mid 19th century. Not an authentic depiction. Poor production in that regard as well as the over-acting taking place.
