Love this trail. The general with upper doors needs a better driver though, It’s not the machine just bad tire placement.

been going out there since the 70s on dirt bikes. No offense, but rarely go anymore because of inconsiderate sxs drivers who have to drive on the wrong side of the road. Kinda saw a lot of that in this video. Not much worse than coming around a blind corner and ending up on the hood of someone’s sxs who thought they owned the entire road. Sorry, just venting, but please be considerate.

Appreciate you showing the staging area. Many vids dont show this. It makes planning a little sketch when you're unsure if theres a spit for your truck/trailer.

Hi Michael, we are planning a SXS ride around Tortilla and found this ride you did! Looks fun, do you know if we could stage at Tortilla Flats? We don’t have street tires so we need a safe place to stage. Also where do We catch the trail from the main road? Coke ovens is private property. Owner will press trespassing charges. Ifs folks like you who ruined it for the law abiding riders.

Sycamore hasn’t been the same since the fire. It won’t regrow in our life time. Spent may weekends camping and riding in the 80’s.

Where are the 4 rock dome huts please?

Your video confirms what I was told last fall when I bumped into Bryan that I rode shotgun in his jeep ten year ago and did that route. Hackberry was really torn up buy recent monsoons!
