I'm looking for the information what part can you replace instead of putting those Cam Bolts. It looks to me that the original, nonadjustable are better (they require higher torque like like 15 ft lbs more than Cam Bolts for that car). I know the problem w/alignment without those Cam Bolts appears on older cars, but can't figure out what part is causing it, what part gets worn. I would better replace the part, if it is possible of course. Thank you for a great film.
What an idiot the idea of putting wider tires on your car is to get more Tire contact with the ground to give you better traction and better performance but in order for you to fit them under the guard which I understand you have to do down there in the communist state of wherever you have tilted the tire out of alignment which is taking pressure off of the tire contact with the ground so not only do you have a worse tire contact patch but you're going to cause excessive wear. what a fucking idiot. But I guess Bubba's like you don't actually give a shit about performance you just want it to look cool what an idiot and I said it before you're a fucking idiot
Small correction: To convert 150 Nm to ft lbs, divide 150 by 1.356 or multiply by 0.738. 150 newton meter = 110.6195 foot pounds. I bought a set of 2 Camber Bolts for one car (2001 Saturn SL2) and it was printed on the packaging box the required torque.
Garth Cooper I didn’t need to actually, it kept tracking straight. Up until now, I have had not had to check anything, no unnatural noises or feels. It’s been perfect so far.
playamoon don’t NEED them for top and bottom. They can be installed in the top only or the bottom only. Top is more common, however if you want more camber then both works to achieve that. Also, I bought whiteline bolts.
playamoon you are welcome. Doubling up on the bolts will get it somewhere around double the camber. No official figures have been recorded as far as I could find. I am running 18x9 with +33 and 255/35, with the dual bolts it tucks nicely. I believe you may need to run a dual bolt yourself.
What specs do you have?
Perfect explanation !
if I get 2 14mm would that mean id get more negative camber?
Your channel is the one hit wonder and honestly I respect that brother😤

Hello, can you give me some advice to get this bolt out? Lobe is in the way to remove it
this video was fkn perfect. thank you
the torque setting for these bolts is 150Nm or 114ftlb, not 150 ftlb. Good video- thanks!
Good spot. I didn’t notice I made that mistake.

7:13 Subie passing by.
very helpfull video..
Hey bro, did you need a wheel alignment after fitting these? Also, its been awhile so how have you found the reliability?
Garth Cooper I didn’t need to actually, it kept tracking straight. Up until now, I have had not had to check anything, no unnatural noises or feels. It’s been perfect so far.
Order 86 sweet. I just got my whiteline bolts Wednesday so will chuck them in this weekend. Where are you?
Garth Cooper Adelaide
Where did you get those camber bolts to buy ?
Better late than never? I bought them through repco. White line should have resellers on their website.
Using camber bolts instead of 1 can severely weaken structure rigidity, not recommended. Oh well.
“Can” and correct that some say it is not recommended. I can confirm that I had ZERO issues to this day even after I had some track days........
helpful vid, cheers mate. bloody tall & wide rollers you've got on, impressed they fit.
do you need camber bolts for top and bottom of both sides? i see other people only using the camber bolts for the top
playamoon don’t NEED them for top and bottom. They can be installed in the top only or the bottom only. Top is more common, however if you want more camber then both works to achieve that. Also, I bought whiteline bolts.
Okay thanks. So only one is necessary, but if you want 2x the camber you install them on both?
also what rims size you running? i have 18x9.5 +34 with 245/35/18 tires and the fronts poke which is why im hoping to get camber bolts

Sounds good thanks Follow me @kouki86community and dm me a photo. Would love to post your car. Thanks!
which camber bolts did you purchase?
White line. I mentioned that multiple times during the video.
