Monte Bello Black Mountain Backpacking Trip
Просмотров 162Год назад
I took my first backpacking trip to Monte Bello Open Preserve - Black Mountain campground. It was a tough up hill hike from the parking lot, but I was able to make it. The campground had a toilet and water spigot. www.openspace.org/where-to-go/permits/camping

One of the best things we did that was really inexpensive, was to rent paddleboards and a surf board for our week on the island. It was nice to try it out and gave everyone something to do in the afternoons.

After spending the morning visiting Pearl Harbor and the Honolulu Zoo we figured why not take a short walk down the road to the Waikiki Aquarium. www.waikikiaquarium.org/ It was a small aquarium and some of the exhibits were closed, but it's always amazing to see the underwater world up close.

www.honoluluzoo.org/visit-honolulu-zoo/ While we were in Honolulu visiting Pearl Harbor we decided to take the kids somewhere more enjoyable and we ended up at the Honolulu Zoo. It was very well landscaped and the enclosures were taken care of. As I have said in other zoo videos, they have a lot of glass fronts which makes it difficult to see the animals because of the reflections. If you have ...

We once did this trail when we first moved to the area, and then we quickly realized, we're not hikers 😂We have too much gear for the water! It's always a GOOD sign when you cannot see the old bridge, which means there's a lot of water in the lake!!

Hello 👋 I found your channel after searching for wacky tacky Rancho Cordova because we’re going there tomorrow!!! Then I saw this video as I was looking through your videos and it seemed familiar. We live in West Sac and we lost power the same 2 days. Our house was 56 degrees. We lost two refrigerators and freezers full of food. That was horrible. We played a lot of board games during that 48+ hour time period. Just wanted to say that 😊

@@andreatackett9073 oh man. Actually we lost power for about 24 hours. I’m going to check our garage fridge in the morning to see if the fridge stuff is okay. I know the freezer stuff is. Time for a generator! You’re smart to have one.

SeaQuest aquariums all over the country are plagued by animal welfare issues, animal deaths, legal violations, and injuries to employees and to the public from direct contact with the animals. SeaQuest continues to be hit with animal neglect allegations, often from former employees, and it is notorious for exploiting animals for entertainment. Within a month of the grand opening of the SeaQuest aquarium in Folsom, California, a stingray died. The animal was found in a touch tank by a visitor who noticed the lifeless body, partially buried under sand. Reportedly, kids were touching the corpse. And a visitor to SeaQuest Folsom documented that it took approximately two minutes for staff to return a fish to water after the animal jumped out of an uncovered tank. The fall from the tank to the floor alone was enough to daze and disorient the fish, who was left to flop on the ground for a prolonged period of time out of the water, likely suffocating. Please do not support, patronize, or promote SeaQuest aquariums!
