Have you ever forgotten to pack something important?

I have forgotten my iWatch charger, but I was able to buy one in the first port city. Most of the time, I have a packing list, and the week before I travel I work out of my electronics bag. It helps me remember if I am missing anything. It also helps me to not take too many cords, as they could be unnecessary. I also throw an extra AC adapter in my backpack in case any of the regular ones decide to fail.

That new studio is definitely a great re-use of space ! I am sure it will be easier to fix the audio issues with the new studio. And honestly, I have seen content creators posting videos with worst audio than that, and the content of the video is as great as usual !

We store our suitcases under the bed. There are some people that are never pleased. I've never seen a 'short people' section, what about a short person with a tall person-would they have to sit separately? Simply ridiculous. Congratulations on the studio!

Good change 😊 Having been a Shoe-me state resident for 40 years, I've been to most of the big name shows and many of the smaller theaters in Branson. Many of which have come and gone.. Never have ever seen any sort of reserved seating for vertically challenged people. Handicap/wheelchair accessible, Yes... The 5'6" and shorter club, No.... Is the new studio/recording area the surprise ? If yes, I love it ! If yes, two surprises in one video, MSC food and new recording area ! As for the food, it seems like it is what I was expecting. Not as bad as some says, but some cruise lines probably do it better. I have done set time with Royal before, but on my last NCL cruise, I obviously didn’t have set time. I prefer set time, because your waiters know what you like, and I think it just makes it easier overall. But as you said, there are good reasons for both. Anyways, thanks for the great content ! I was looking forward to that video, and I wasn’t disappointed!

We have always used EZ. Parking. Good shuttle service and drop off and pickup easy to find. Closest walk for us is important

From my understanding, More at sea is better for people who had Free at sea (basic), but is bad for people who had Free at sea +. Overall, NCL is (once again) cutting costs on the passenger experience. It was especially true in our NCL sailing last July. Fingers crossed you were okay down there with hurricane Helene ! I would hate to have to deal with this and the government not doing anything (or almost) to help us.

I haven’t heard anything from the people/family members that were supposedly watching the children of that couple. You’d think that if someone else was watching them while the parents were at dinner they would have come forward & said, “Hey! We were watching them!”

the clarification was necessary for the USB ports for port security because they confiscated one from us on our last cruise. They don't know the difference apparently.

RCCL had 2 electrical plugs on vanity. To get cpap power RCCL put their extension cord from vanity up over top of bed with metal (magnetic) hooks. Could not believe they didn’t have USB’s on lamps by bed. BTW, RCCL was $30/day for Wi-Fi, incredible rip-off.

Regarding specialty restaurants, compared to the price of NCL, RCCL, or Carnival, you could it pre book a restaurant 3 night package for two and with that added you still come out cheaper than the other 3 lines. MSC cost allows you to cruise more often at the expense of things that you otherwise pay as you go with MSC. If you prefer starting cheap and adding only what you want, then MSC is for you. Also, the drink package is so much cheaper than the others when added at booking. Paid only $150 each for mid grade package for the week.

We prefer the smaller ships . we went on the Jubilee in August and nearly every time we went to do something there was a long line and a lot more rude people I guess from standing in line too long. The food on the bigger ships buffets it look good, even the desserts, but don’t have any flavor. So, our next cruise is on the dream. We are thinking about trying different cruises, besides carnival .

MSC cruises doesn’t seem that bad, and as you said, a cruise can’t be bad, it can just be better, but I think I will stick with NCL or Royal Caribbean. Speaking of Royal Caribbean… I might have ‘’accidentally’’ booked Icon of the seas 😁

A USB hub will be just fine. They are worried about the sockets which draw more power than USB ports. I have a USB hub that's gone all over the world with me now, I just throw a converter in my bag when we go outside of the US. Its weird that they are banning satellite dishes and lumping Starlink receivers in with that. Having a receiver doesn't impact ship-to-shore communications like some radio signals can. The cruise lines are in for a very big surprise once the Starlink/T-mobile service is turned on and everyone will have access to text, voice, and data anywhere in the world, including at sea for no additional cost and no new equipment (Samsung phones and iPhones for the last few years for sure already have satellite receivers built in, knowing that satellite service is coming any day now and they don't want to require customers to get new devices on day one rollout of the new network). 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have a European multiplug that connects directly into the plug. That way I can utilize European plugs and USB. It dosent have a cord, so I believe Royal will still allow it. Another great Amazon find 😁 12:09 Yep, having a video of that would have been really fun 😂

I didn't know what an introvert was... People totally drain me mentally & phisically.. Plus I'm antisocial and don't like gambling, karaoke or loudness. Crowds of ppl turn me into the "F all these a holes guy" makes me hateful.

What an… interesting embarcation experience. On my last sailing from Rome, it was all indoors in a brand new terminal, with no lines. I would have thought it was like that in Germany too. As for the amount of English speakers , probably the itinerary wasn’t the cause, but more the cruise line. Again, on my last cruise (with NCL) there were a lot of Americans and Canadians. I saw about 42 different people that were Canadian French speakers, like us. That is definitely rare on a cruise in Europe !

We always stay in the interior rooms and yes, they are dark when the light goes off. In the Jubilee bathrooms if you get 2 Oompa-Loompas in there, you would be lucky. But I told my wife on our next cruise let’s try a balcony. We traveled with our granddaughter and we got a ocean view room. The bathroom was definitely a little bigger it had a and it also had a room with a small kid tub that was on the vista

My wife and I went on a cruise in August even though we had a good time . We thought that carnival should leave the bigger ships to other cruise lines .We have more fun on smaller ships we did not care too much for the food in the main Buffy. we stayed in the cloud, nine spa rooms. and yes, the bathrooms are small. And. serval times a day we went to the cloud, nine spa, pool and steam rooms and could not believe how noisy it was in there the only thing noisier was the Lido deck sell away party. and yes, the serenity deck was quite noisy also. probably won’t sell on the Jubilee again unless the grandkids want to give it a try. Our next cruise is on the dream.

3:41 Above the Royal Promenade , especially is a bad location, and I am speaking from experience ! The worst cabin I ever had was above the karaoke on Oasis OTS. We tought it couldn’t be that bad, since karaoke usually don’t happen at night… except that their system was broken, so the music was playing full volume all night long 😅. We got 50 OBC for that lol

One of the last cruises, some of the family in our gathering got a front facing room, 2 floors under the bridge. Fantastic room size and nice forward views of the ocean, but with any significant bump in the ocean waves, came the thumping of the anchors and chains directly below. Not enough wite noise apps on iPads could drown out that obnoxious sound 😮

I'm very picky about my cabin. I need cabins all around me including above and below me. I stayed in a cabin with a connecting door once and that was enough for me. I also never book a guaranteed cabin, as you are usually put in the last of the worst for that class. I try to either stay inside or ocean view, so that I have more money for excursions and to sail more often. Balcony cabins are nice, but can be very pricey. I will only book them for scenic cruises like Alaska or the Panama Canal.

Great video, thanks! We live 35 minutes from the terminal, near NASA, and will be cruising Carnival in November. Harbor Side is always kind of funky. You can exit onto Harbor Side just after going over the causeway on 45 heading onto the island, turn left and there are railroad tracks about a half mile down; almost everyday a train stops on the tracks and backs up the traffic. It is always better to head down Broadway or the Seawall.

I understand that all passengers sign a contract that the cruise line will not be held liable for a refund if the cruise line needs to make a change. However this is a change in good faith due to information not available BEFORE SAILING such as acts of god like a hurricane, storm, unsafe conditions or external factors such as rioting/protests at ports of call, or advisories from regulatory authorities etc. However that is not the issue here. Greedy corporate mongers like Christine Duffy and John Heald are knowingly and deliberately boarding innocent guests onboard even after being fully aware of all the past 5 propulsion issues that have had with Vista and how they have NOT been able to address these issues either while sailing or a the numerous dry dock visits this horrible ship and all ships in the Vista class have made. HENCE THIS IS A DELIBERATE FRAUD AND ACT OF CORPORATE GREED. I understand that the cruising does not come under the DOT's jurisdiction but it is no different from an airline booking passengers knowing fully well one of its engines is broken. The FAA and DOT oversight will not allow this. I wish you can make a video on the public policy issue at stake here given the corporate greed by CHRISTINE DUFFY, JOHN HEALD, CARNIVAL CRUISES LINES AND CARNIVAL CORPORATION. This call for a PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION AGAINST all of these players individuals and companies.
