Got my Harrier from the dealer this morning. Was told by the dealer that my unit is probably the first unit that get on to the road in Klang Valley. Since the car has not been tested or driven by the car journalist, thought of sharing my initial impression on the car. How is the comfort level, NVH and does this car has sufficient power to get it moving?
Salahkan diri sndri yg suka bawa kndraan laju2.......dan melibatkan nyawa...
Selekoh tu selamat. rekabentuk ni dah melalui proses value engineering, kadar superelevation yang mengikut had laju, warning sign yang mencukupi, nilai skid resistant yang patuh kepada spesifikasi.. jangan buat tajuk yang mengelirukan dan mengundang fitnah.. Punca utama adalah KECUAIAN PEMANDU dan SIKAP PEMANDUAN yang tidak berhemah ketika masuk ke lebuhraya.. tolong delete video atau tukar caption.

Is the waiting time at UMW very long?

jalan kita x kenal jgn nak layan sangat..
Selekoh cecah lutut kaki layan lap suka sgt la..kalau di lihat situasi spt berpasir,amat berisiko baik utk penunggang motosikal mahupun mereka berkenderaan spt kereta jika memandu agak laju dgn layan lap pasti tayar membuang terutamanya kenderaan yg bunganya sudah hampir botak..Jalan tak salah walaupun tersebut berpasir atau apa pun keadaan jalan tersebut jika kita bersikap berhati-hati paling tidak dpt mengelakkan kejadian yg tidak diingini tapi kalau kehendak Allah swt lain apapun langkah keselamatan yg kita ambil kalau Allah swt berjadi jadi,maka jadilah...Namun itu tak bermakna kita tidak perlu mengambil keselamatan dgn mengutamakan diri sendiri dan orang lain dlm kita berkenderaan di jalanraya..begitulah lebih kurangnya ya...
Itukan selekoh. Slow lah sikit. Kene pandai main brek. Bunga tayar pon kena check jgk. Bila accident aje salahkan takdir.. Salahkan org lain.. Yg bongok lagi salah jin setan. Padahal sendiri yg xreti drive.. Amik lesen balik lagi bagus..
Tu la aku pikir, mana ada selekoh bahaya kat jalanraya malaysia ni. Pemandu merbahaya banyak la. Bwak laju time selekoh, layan korner, potong double line, berlumba, bwk masa ngantuk, mabuk. Selekoh pulak yg dicop bahaya hahaha
Corner tu x bahaya pun, yg bwk ala pro racer tu yg bahaya.. sendiri tau condition kereta sendiri & tayar tahap mana klu gearing pun xtau nak letak kat mana time corner jgn nak acah2 mcm fast & furious..
jalan baru ada 1001 kisah sebelum dibena, mantau dulu tempat tu hutan astu jln tu buka trus bende tu kacau kadang kita bwk ok dh tapi situati tuh

in Singapore, this car is SGD 250k !! And you get a ridiculous infotainment system
Is there any way to tackle the wind noise?
Not sure whether Toyota has a solution for this. For me, I didn’t do anything to it. Is there any owner in here complain to Toyota and has it fixed?

I m owner of Harrier 2.0 NA, I really feel this car is underpower and cvt is poor respince. The cornering is very scarry and steering is too light when cruise above 150km .it also provide comfort for city drive only , the test are very dissappoint to me

Hi, couple of question for you if you don’t mind. 1. what do you think of the audio quality. 2. How bout the ride comfort, it’s on soft or hard side
Test driven it. The engine sounded like a van on climbing slight gradient. Surely missing the turbo. Good value for money? Coming with that pricing, I am not sure.
I love this car so much but some of the decisions are pretty much unwise like the back signals as you mentioned. But it's definitely better than the new GLA 200 lmao. Pretty sad that there are some drawbacks between Malaysia's units and Japan's units, such as having a smaller screen, etc despite being CBU and not CKD.

I have booked one. But Can’t test drive. Not too sure about ride quality compared to other competitors Satisfied with purchase? Any issues with noises from road, wind, CVT or engine
will they change the audio screen to 12 inch jbl in few more year? if will change , i will wait for it.
The 12 inches JBL is on the Z Leather Package spec in Japan. This current spec is equivalent to the Luxury spec in Japan. The Z Leather package, if UMW to bring in, will probably selling at close to $290K.

Well the fuel consumption is pretty impressive. 14kml. Well did you drive aggressively or gentle on highway and city? What were your speeds on the highway?
Highway speed between 90km/h to 110km/h

Thank you for watching. Due to FMCO, I haven got a change to drive the car on a B road where I can try out the overtaking capability. Will update everyone once I’ve done this. On the 0-100kmh, I did try though didn’t really floor the pedal (car still new, sayang a bit). On that occasion, it took about 10+ seconds. Per specification, is 9.2sec

Is a different engine. For Malaysia market, this 4th generation Harrier is using the 2.0 Dynamic Force engine mated to a Direct CVT transmission.
