Good evening, my husband passed away and has a partial claim lien with FHA during Covid and I’m behind on the mortgage payments with wellsfargo and was told by them that they could not do a modification or anything for me until the partial claim has been paid. I am the successor in interest. What can I do my home has been temporarily been suspended from foreclosure.

Hello. I live in Florida. I really need your help. We have FHA loan. We did hurricane forbearance. Dec 1 we are at 90 days. It just seems to good to be true. Don’t pay your mortgage for 90 days and instead of getting foreclosed you get 25% reduction? My wife says we can get this. She’s certain. Is this real?

Im in the State of California where I had a loan under conventional due to excellent credit. Over the past years, the State and counties are embezzling funds including my retirement funds. i reached out both state and federal without any success. Now that im in this predicament I still have a residuals but i need to find a way to lower my payment. I cant seem to find a good solution. I fear of losing my home because of Californias total government shutdown. All acronyms after a foia requests shown there is zero oversight. Now our CALFAIR renewal is 6000 a year bur heres the funny part it doesn’t even cover the lenders requirements nor does it have rebuild clause and theres no liability. But because im compelled to have insurance with my mortgage i cant refuse. The lender says if I dont fix that policy they will foreclose on me. This is completely out of my control. I was never late and always made my payments plus extra towards principal. Any suggestions

Lets say you did this. You owe 100,000. Then they added a 25,000 to the end. You didnt pay 25,000 but you will at the end. because you missed those payments does this mean you have to pay 25,000 for that lost payments plus that deferred payments of 25,000 in a secondary which means now you owe 50,000 aka 100% mark up

I was just impacted by hurricane Helene and hurricane Milton I have a home in central Florida I just called today because my job in in 4 foot of water with no roof what happens after the 3 months do the move the payments to the back end of the loan.

They denied my modification because I have a different job making less money- they just dont care and now I dont. I hate BofA and I hate I ever believed in myself that I could have and keep my home.

I just paid the 31,700. partial claim in full!!! I a hoping to do an equity loan to pay off debt once this catches up with my credit info. Can I expect my credit score to increase? Even if it did not have get paid off before selling etc. I am hoping to pay less interest overall by paying off my debt.

What about construction/ mechanics liens? Would I still be beholden to the other lien holders if I purchased the property?

So if you get one through hoa foreclosure, can you call up the bank & negotiate with them to pay off the balance so that they dont foreclose on their lien??

I am in Illinois, my loan was sold to SPS. Per Google, SPS specializes in foreclosure. Illinois does have a Homeless Prevention Program.

Do you know about FHFA new Pilot Program??? The US government on June 23 2024 has a new Pilot program to place a 2nd loan on your mortgage to avoid foreclosure I could not find anything on their FHFA website.

Do the lender sometimes work with you on a payment plan,like paying more each month?

FHA forbearance 3 month June, July, August and on September 1 four months shows will be due. With the partial claim will i owe the only the regular payment due September 1 or would i resume in October? Also, do you recommend paying a full monthly payment when possible during the forbearance?

It's a little weird that the Surplus goes to the owners instead of being used to pay the 1st Mortgage Instrument. I would have assumed that the extra money was going to be used to cover the other debtors down the priority line.

what happens with the other liens/debts , if its only the bank/ plaintiff .

do forclosures go up as unemployment rate goes up ? right now unemployment rate is 3.9% so when it get to 5% more might start coming up .
