As most of the basic concepts remain the same for both UGC & CUET Pg , i have added these videos in the CUET playlist as well . You just need to understand the CUET syllabus and standard of the questions asked in the exam and then utilize this playlist . This playlist helps you in easy understanding of public health topics . The only difference is that you don't need to prepare a few topics in depth like UGC NET . Hope this is helpful.

Shift just define morning or afternoon shift. Usually, social medicine happens only in single shift. Paper 1 & Paper 2 combined you need to finish in 3 hours' time ( single shift ) . Hope this is helpful.

Yes, Paper 1 is a common paper for all subjects .

I can understand your concern. But cut off depends on multiple factors and the data of no of students applied in social medicine is not known for time being. In general, the cutoff will be + or - 6 to 10 marks of previous years cutoff. As they included Ph.D. for the first time in UGC, we need to wait for the official results.

Firstly, it's an eligibility test to become an Assistant Professor (UGC NET) in India and also to receive a stipend for research (UGC NET JRF). Recently, they have included Ph.D. admissions under this exam, making you eligible for Ph.D. programs. Apart from this, clearing the exam is always an added benefit for your future career. Hope this is helpful .
