What do I do if I unscrewed the whole thing? The needle seems to not want to insert all the way in and is hitting the metal bobbin case that holds the metal bobbin

Can i remove the blades to clean it?
The blades are factory installed and not removeable; however, you can clean the blades by adding a drop or two of dishwashing liquid to water in the glass container and pulsing the blender a few times. You can wipe the blades with a slightly damp cloth to remove any soap residue left behind.

What size are the screws?
The screws are 1/2" in length and 2/16" in diameter.

Just got home with a replacement. The first one didn't suck. Made all the noises, but it never created a vacuum. Now the replacement seems to suck, but slowly and whether it's on normal or slow, it doesn't seal and just let's air back into the bag. 😖 Two in a row with problems. Buy cheap and get cheap? I don't need one bad enough to spend over $100 on one, but even $30 is too much if they won't work. Go back for another exchange or just a refund. Irritating.

This happened to me, then I realized that the nut had fallen out. There is a little nut that goes between the needle and the housing
