Hannah Vannah
Добавлен 12 апр 2016
Hello and welcome! If you want to tag along on my bike/life journey, come follow me on instagram (@hannahandvannah). At one point I had grandiose plans of posting vidoes to RUclips but alas, life got busy and I havne't had a chance to do much (yet). Maybe someday soon!
About me...In 2016 I left my cubicle job in Boulder, Colorado, sold all my possessions and moved into my camper van better known as VANnah. I spent 9 months living out of my van, driving around North America, exploring new trail systems and gaining my confidence on a mountain bike. Following full-time van life I landed in Chattanooga, Tennessee which I know call home(base).
I am a PMBI Certified Mountain Bike Skill Instruction, teaching and organizing skills clinics for Ninja Mountain Bike Performance. I'm passionate about bikes and introducing other women to the sport. I laugh a lot, occasionally crash and always have a good time.

Gotta Start Somewhere...How About Windrock Bike Park?
Yup. Here it is. My first choppy RUclips video with mediocre audio quality and motion sickness inducing footage. Don't worry my friends - it can only get better from here!
Last week I borrowed a GoPro, strapped it to a borrowed helmet and hit the trails at Windrock Bike Park. The footage is shaky at best and doesn't even start to do the Windrock trail system justice. Regardless, I had a super fun day on some of the steepest trails I've ever ridden. I enjoyed putting together this little video and now have a laundry list of all the things I'll do differently the next time around. I'm looking forward to upgrading my equipment and hitting the road over the next few months to bring you more vi...

How often is your dog on the road with you.?
Always! He pretty much travels with me everywhere.
that is awesome! my dog of 15 Years Bear, would go with me every where by my side for all my teen years and also most of my 20s starting when I was about 13 got him as a pup and I was 28 when he passed 2 years ago It was hard for me but he had a wonderful Life.. any how never thought Id be Ready but long story short I some how adopted a male Husky 7 months ago Named Him Sage, he is Only about a Year give or take the Shelter said. I'm still working with Him as you might Know Huskies are Not always easy to safely train off leash I already Love this dog so much I take him bike joring some times and always On Hikes but I hope to get him a little more responsive off lead to take Him on some normal MTB rides when it is cool enough.. any How I Apologize for rambling on Just Love seeing people Taking their dogs on adventures with them don't Care if this Makes me sound corny But It makes me happy.. :)
Nice video,Love it keep it up .I'm expecting more videos :)
Getting a mild dinosaur jr vibe from blue blood. Thumbs ups all round
Love your van, since Alex (single track sampler) got a van I think it would be a good idea if you did more colabs, also continue the videos and this channel will definitely grow big
This was great. Loving the vibes and biking enthusiasm 🤘 Nothing beats great van insulation like having a 4 legged ball of fur though :) Hope you and the pup stay safe over your travels. Stay gnarly 👊
Hey! It's the tricked-out-van-mountain-biking-girl!!
Sound you through Dusty Betty! I also Subscribed to you!
Wow, super cool clip, thanks for that! Landed here via the van life tutorial from the Single Track channel. I was in Chattanooga a few times during my VW times (I'm from Sweden, so not so often in the States). Super impressed by the ride like a ninja thing :)
Great vid! Keep them coming! More women riders is awesome!
Hannah what does STS beard really smell like? Peeeeuuuuuuuu
Would love to get more info on Women's clinic for riding. Do you have a Patreon account. Would love to sponsor you along with Seth and Alexander!! Great video!
Hey Shannon! I don't have a Patreon account but really appreciate the vote of support. The best way to support me would be to spread the word about the women's (and co-ed) clinics I run with Ninja Mountain Bike Performance (www.rideliekaninja.com). If you don't see an event in your city - let us know! We are expanding all over the US. Cheers!
Sounds great. My boys and I started a RUclips channel at Shannon O (NOMAMBO trail) as I cannot find anything for women lime myself in our state or area to get into mountain biking. The best part is that I am willing to drive to get to a clinic. Thanks for every thing you do!! Looking forward to see more from you on your travels!
Found out about you from Alex and a dude that is also sub'd to my channel. Love your van! Keep the party on the pedals and let me know when you're here in NJ!
Hey-yo! Thanks for saying Hi! I'm hoping to organize a few Ninja mountain bike camps in New Jersey in 2018. If you have any tips for good clinic trail systems, I'd love to hear them!
This was super chill :D You should make more vids, great job!!
Shame you don't upload anymore. Your channel has insane amounts of potential, like *seriously.*
Thanks, friend. If only there were more hours in the day to shoot and edit video. :) Maybe I'll be able to pick back up again sometime soon. In the meantime, I'll keep adventures posted to Instagram. @hannahandvannah Cheers!
I grew up outside Chattanooga (little town called Ooltewah--my parents live at the foot of White Oak Mountain.). Now live in Denver. Great first video! Keep them coming. Where do you like to ride in the Chattanooga area?
Nice! Apparently, we switched place - I moved to Chattanooga from Boulder. :) My favorite local spot in Chatt in Racoon Mountain!
R u going to upload more videos of your trip?
Turns out editing videos takes a LONG time. With that, no more videos planned at this point but I'll continue to post my adventures to Instagram as much as possible!
Same here too..LOl Go Singletrack for the plug! Keep the videos coming in Hannah.
Hannah try killing the music on your rides and narrate the ride more like the sampler as you have very good speaking skills. Share with us your stoke at the time good or not so good. Love your first video.....good start anyway..👍👍👍👍👍
I saw the singletracksampler's tour of your van and I was wondering how you wash your clothes
Laundromats and friends houses!
nice vid but next time can you put you cam under your helmet or search for seth's bike hacks gopro
From Vermont, Live in North Carolin now. Great places to ride have fun!
Very nice first video! I want to see "The single track sampler" T-Shirt next video! :) To be picky in one of the position of the camera over the helmet there is to much of 'helmet' in the screen, but considering the equipment that not bad at all! Keep going!
Thanks! I will be ROCKIN' my new tshirt when it arrives - don't you worry. I've got some great footage from a 3 week road trip out west; now i just need to find the time to sit down and edit!
Sure! You can also combine these footages with a celebration for the 100+ subscribers!!!
That was a good first video Hannah! The ladies are definitely under represented out on the mtb trails. Need more dudettes out there shreadin'! Sounds like you have great involvement in the mtb community and I am sure you can attract a RUclips following. Keep the videos coming. It only gets better with time. You probably don't check for comments on your old uploads, but I hope you read this and find some encouragement. Stay awesome!
Thanks for the support and words of encouragement!
Awesome video. Can't wait to see more.
Good job on your first video, can't wait to see more!
cool. came from BKXC. Hope to follow you on your journey?
Great first video! Keep it up. Always stoked to see women riding bikes!
i think you did a great job on your first video!!! only better to come keep it up!!!
Thanks, Ryan!
