They will win nothing. "Top 3 defense" is just an opinion from looking at stats. Games put people in too many different situations -- long field, run/pass heavy, what teams they play, when in the season they play those teams. There are so many ways to take apart any argument trying to claim standings as far as defense goes. Not only that, but who cares if they can't win games. Bragging about a team having a top 3 defense when they are tied for last in their division and have won only 1 game. So, it really doesn't matter how great (you think) their defense is, the stats that matter are in the W & L columns. The Browns defense is not doing enough. When the Ravens won their first Superbowl, they went a whole month without an offensive touchdown and still won games. So, defenses that are great, can impact the game to the point that they actually win. Browns have the ability to be a great defense. But it doesn't matter if you can't win games.

Then, because he (Eberflus) couldn't handle that & the pressure he was trying to avoid from the press to explain his new plays (where Fields was clearly ordered not to throw to certain receivers on plays in advance, even if those player got open) Eberflus allowed Getsy to call plays with either far less or no interference from Eberflus whatever. & what do you know, despite Mooney being his #1 WR Fields led the Bears to being the Best Offense in the NFL 3 weeks straight. & because everyone needed to dismiss this because acknowledging it would mean acknowledging that Eberflus wanted Fields gone (especially after he cancelled those plays) everyone did indeed dismiss this achievement that no other QB achieved, not Allen with Diggs, Tua with Tyreek or anyone else. So to recap, we have evidence that Fields can elevate The Worst Roster more than any other QB in the league but because of nothing more than a discomfort we feel when we think for ourselves, no one will acknowledge this.
