On the afternoon of Monday, September 23 , Toronto Paramedic Services Chief Bikram Chawla and members of Toronto Paramedic Services welcomed 42 paramedics arriving on bikes concluding the 11th annual Ontario Tour Paramedic Ride. This video is the the conclusion ceremony that marks the end of the four-day, 500-kilometre journey from Ottawa to Toronto.
The ride aims to raise awareness and funds for the creation of the Canadian Paramedic Monument to honour paramedics who have lost their lives in the line of duty, as well as charitable organizations supporting mental health initiatives for first responders and their family members.
