However, I’ve lear...

Ed must have found them out in the alley

Thanks for sharing snapshots of your family’s travels with us. Looks like you all had fun!
What a fun video of your trip!

Fantastic footage! What an amazing trip for your family. A visit to Japan has been on my bucket list for a while. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like you had a lot of fun!
The ending with the dad and son always makes me feel
Absolutely Amazing. So happy to finally see this footage of The Mattison Trio. This should be seen by everyone! Great to see Uncle Guy and Aunt Dorothy. What Talent!!!!!!
In RUclips comments posted in 2013, Russell Miles provides the following information: "It was a one-off. That was my great-grandfather, my dad tells me it was made from a bass drum, a plank of wood and piano wire. I am told it also had electric lights in the drum that would light up." and "I am very proud to say that the man with the giant banjo is my Great Grandfather, Alfred Lemire and his two sons Aime and Raymond from Rochester, NH. They rock on the banjos - and my two sons rock on the guitar and bass!"
Is that Sydney Evans on bass
Yes - from Rock Right Academy two years ago.
An online film archive states that this newsreel was filmed in Rochester, New Hampshire, on March 25, 1928. The film description goes on to state that Lemire (who they refer to as "Fred" rather than Alfred) is playing the giant banjo he built in nine months, which weighs 30 pounds, stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and has a diameter of 37 inches.
JAM POTROL!
Great solo Russell!
With a balloon you can do the Flaming Lips thing. Rockin setup.
Beautifully done.
It was really great - highly recommend it! There were six zips (the longest is in the video), two sky bridges, and two rappels off platforms. The guides were really fun and very professional. A great family bonding experience.
