Idk he seemed pretty calm and relaxed . The fact that he shot back after the first shot was fired is indeed self defense. However you can’t just pull up at somebody’s house like that. Will all his connections he could have contacted law enforcement instead of trying to patrol his own neighborhood. He definitely fucked up by doing that . He should have went home and reported the house and vehicle . When you conceal carry you have a responsibility to avoid altercation if possible and only fire if your life is at risk . If that car pulled up to his house and he defends himself ; he would have not have done two years .

People praising this guy for ‘saving court time’ by confessing should know that it’s taken almost SIX YEARS to bring him to trial due to his shenanigans such as pretending to be incompetent. But sure keep giving him credit for absolutely no reason and take everything he says at face value. Reminder that all of this could have been avoided if he’d learned to use a condom.

That said: If your intimate, live-in partner can kill you and then sit and joke and laugh about it, (and I realize hind-sight is 20/20), maybe heed the horror movie mantra "GET OUT" sooner than later. There are multiple agencies you can contact to get away from the abuser (with your kids). Google in your country and in most, numbers will come up, some of them with underground railroads to secret you out. If there's nothing in country, try international hotlines. #YoureStrongerWiserAndBraverThanYouThink

I am in no way siding with these boys but wouldn't the smart thing have been to stay silent and lawyer up? Im just surprised because usually the commentaries on true crime interviews jumps in with "and this is where the suspect ahould have ahut his mouth" type of thing. Im just surprised, and I would like to know if there are similar situations in which they did lawyer up, and what those investigations looked like.

Not supporting the kid here, but I never understand why participants assist with the investigation. They are under no obligation to assist with the investigation or incriminate themselves. Why not take the approach of...."I don't answer questions."
