I ended the game around level 206(?) with the stats Vigor 60 Mind 45 Endurance 60 Strength 45 Dexterity 44 Int 9 Faith 8 Arcane 14 The stat distribution is terrible and if I were to make any changes Id go 25 Faith to get Golden Vow and Flame Grant me Strength for fights (I didnt do it because I was tired of buff routine after every attempt) and some stats in Arcane since your main source of damage for alot of bosses is bleed. Strength and Dex dont matter as much for bows because their scaling is generally bad. For Talismans I used : Arrow Sting Talisman, Shard of Alexander, Two Headed Turtle Talisman (DLC), and Crimson Seed Talisman (DLC) Arrow Sting is mandatory and stacks with the new one from the DLC, for this fight though I opted out of using it because the extra range was not needed and the extra healing from the Crimson Seed Talisman saved time from healing after mistakes. (I think the other talismans are self explanatory) For bows use the Black Bow and Radahns Greatbow for general exploring and bosses. Use the Bone Bow with rancor shot for some matchups like Romina. Radahns Greatbow absolutely shreds Bayle if you ever struggle with that as well. The black bow is your go to for mostly everything though. You can also use Ansbachs Longbow from the DLC sidequest but its not worth the stat investment and the ash of war isint that great for bosses. It might be bugged but Fan Shot on Ansbachs Bow does the same amount of damage whether or not 1 arrow or all 8 arrows hit the boss. If it ever gets changed though, use it immediately Good luck with your bow only run! If you have any more questions feel free to ask

@@Narukamii_ thanks man im currently on bayle with the base game being stuck on radagon/elden beast i also used black bow and radahns but im a bit hardstuck on radagon/elden beast because by the time im at the elden beast radagon drained all my pots but there i just need to get good with dodging him i guess, another thing that i have problems with are human sized enemys like invaders and such because they just dodge a lot but other than that the bow run has been pretty sucessfull thx again for the answer

@ganton2746 Good luck with the rest of your run! For Radagon it's best just treating the entire fight as if you're melee since he deflects projectiles so at that point it's just about learning and consistency. He's weak to ailments and stuff so it's worth a shot If you wanna grind the arrows. For invader NPCs you can spend most of the fight kiting with roll back jump shots. Sometimes you'll get headshots by doing that but most of the time you can use the great bow and play extremely patiently to get counter hits to knock them down and kite until they're dead. Invades are probably the worst part of the challenge run and after a certain point I would just recommend saying "fuck it" and switching to a melee weapon to save yourself the headache but it's your run so good luck!

@@Narukamii_ ey man sry to bother you but did you do needle knight leda also with bow only because i find the fight to be super hard because its just 4 npcs that are gods at dodging and run at you with little to no counterplay any tips would be appreciated

If you're using combat supremacy bow then you MUST have the rush up Z skill. It freezes the stamina bar shown in the video.

If you've got the cheats enabled and set, make sure you also have the recent update for either MHXX or MHGU. It's been a while but I believe it would be update 1.4.0(?)

@@Narukamii_ i will check if there's an update for mhgu. Not aware bout that. But i think it will work. I hope so.

i have the same isuee did the 1.4 updated fixed the issue for 60 fps? cus what is used right now is 1.0 and same as you alredy put the cheat and the cheat is read by the emulator ​@@angkoltazki

If you have the right download unzip the file and you should be left with a bunch of folders that contain a bunch of pngs for each category they are under. If thats the case youve done everything correct you just need to enable custom texutres on citra, make sure its in the right place or may need to update the game if you havent done so already
