2 Weeks of photos from around Arizona
After spending many summers here in the UK wanting to be able to take dramatic lightning photos inside thunderstorms, I decided after extensive research, to go chasing them in the United States and to be more precise the target-rich area state of Arizona 5000 miles from home in the UK.
People I chat with immediately jump to the thought of me visiting to get caught in a twister. This isn't the case, I am visiting Arizona during the "Monsoon season", a season that lasts for just over 2 months in the summer.
My aim was to document these big powerful storms by still and videography as well as timelapse but this video is just a selection of photos.

That's an awesome lot of tracked vehicles. The sound is something! Smell must have been as well. Particularly enjoyed seeing the engineering vehicles.

Looks like the vehicles are on the small side. There's a number of extra small tracked armoured vehicles, such as the FV107 Scimitar, which is a reconnaissance vehicle.

Yes, it’s engine exhaust smoke. Basically another method of smoke screening.
