HAHAHAHA! I love this video! Cheesy music and vintage ski. Fantastic! Sweet moves too. lol. I have this same ski.. so searching across the tube. I found this gem! Funny thing is. This ski has the 701 in it. 144pump. It's still a ripper by todays standards.
wow, blast from the past for both of us!
Short Field? Looks like at least a 3k ft long runway.
I was learning to fly on this airplane doing the taxi is so hard… 😂 great aircraft!
What engine and how much HP?
Tem um ovni no video,no momento de pouso!
You said high speed landing at 100 mph but 98 mph is the gliders do not exceed speed so impossible
good thing you had a Mile long runway or you should have tossed your dad out of the plane
I am interested if it is still for sale dynotime1@yahoo.com
That took a very long time to come off the ground , What was the Static Run Up RPM
Hi Mike, thank you for the video, that's a great camera angle that you setup there, showing the visibility that the legacy's bubble canopy offers. I'm seriously wanting to buy a Legacy in the next few years, and just wanted to ask what cruise speeds have you seen typically and what is your overall impressions of the Legacy as a cross country flyer?
What airport ? - nice to know where there’s a Cycle Gear in walking distance.
It's been so long I forget.
U Suck!
Sorry, I flew my airplane there and didn't want to hurt myself and not be able to fly home.
what was in the sky at 4:09 am 1/29/2019 at sw 230deg ? it was south jupier/mars, close to horizon
Looks like density altitude was pretty high on that day based on takeoff distance. Correct?
No, the plane was propped wrong. I did not buy it!
@@mikegrossman to bad that is really no reason to pass on the plane just cut the cost
Hello Mike! What an amazing video.... I recently purchased a home at Bryce Resort and although I don't fly myself, I would love to see the airport at Bryce used more often. I would like to generate interest in this little gem of a resort. Are you a member of any flying clubs? Is there such a thing? I wonder if Bryce would be the kind of place that plane owner's would retire to? or maybe enjoy day trips to.... Club meetings at the New Shenandoah Center at the resort? The original founder of the resort was a pilot and from what I understand the airport was very active at one time. Golfers and people enjoying summers at the resort used the strip regularly. Please let me know if you have any ideas or input on the subject. Bill LaRock
Hey Bill, I didn't realize not one uses the airport until I signed the flight book and the last person to land there was months ago. It's a bit of a challenging airport, but I think what scares most people off is that it's labeled as private. Many probably assume they cannot land there.
i tink you have a problem; 2200 rpm during take off hummm ???
Exactly why I did not buy it, think the prop was pitched wrong.
@@mikegrossmanhere is 2 kind of prop, the climb one and the cruise one , that one is probably the cruise one and it's normal to have 2200 rpm
@@pierrechose208 do not think so
@@pierrechose208 call the prop MFG and they will tell you what the Static run up should be
Beautiful Cheetah. It looked like a keeper but I don't know the back-story.
Mike, lets go flying. Pick me up at KLGB.
I don’t see it
Hober
Awesome camera angle. Nice job! All you need is the audio from your comms!
Thanks for the landing Mike. Can you tell me what that great GPS display is?
GRT Horizon HX on the left and SX on the right, with the GRT EIS.
How do you edit speed and altitude?
Garmin provides the tools to use with the VIRB camera: amzn.to/2IBuVlj
Love these planes, happy to produce support videos.
a 180 hp engine should have come in all of them
Great soundtrack, can you remember the name of the tune?
You legit look like one of my friends. Looks like a real fun plane to fly!
So immersive, it almost looks fake.
What make is this, Eliminator?
hey i seen your video of the vxr pro waverunner and i have the exact same one i was wondering if you know where i can get the manuel for free on the internet
Great landing!
Thanks, I love a good crosswind!
Awesome camera footage! How did you mount the camera? Suction mount or bolt on?
amzn.to/2SmjluH
Nice Flight! Looks like you're having the same issue as me with altitude being inaccurate and the course reading "true" instead of having the option to choose 'magnetic" which to me would make more sense for aviation. Otherwise its a nice little camera for the price point.
Hi Mike, I'm a Philadelphia based pilot who's looking into buying a Lancair. Was curious if you had a moment to discuss the aircraft and how I could get my hands on one. I see you're local, perhaps we can meet. I fly professionally out of MMU but live right next to LOM. Please let me know. 215.605.0003 zooplane@comcast.net
flying thru the gap . your coming my way . planes flew over our place all the time in slatington , now we are in palmerton . you park that plane in slatington?
nice legacy
Excellent approach .1000 FT/min sink rate
Thank! Glad you think so... I was not happy with the touchdown :( I like it when you hardly even know you're on the ground! You local to the area? I fly outa KBLM
+Mike Grossman Practice practice, you landing was fine , im from KXLL
Do you have a diagram of this setup? :-)
what camera did you use for this wonderful video? thanks
Gorgeous paint job <-- which can hide the real problems. A shame...
Great and beautiful catch Mike! Thanks for sharing.
Saw one like that one night recently over Ohio. Cool you got this one on video!
Very cool capt . I'd love to do a T&G at LaGuardia
Did you get your chance during Covid, I did at EWR
Why the hell would you tell air traffic control? It's not pertinent information. They don't care that you just saw a shooting star.
Hello. I saw it too. I was walking up my road at exactly that time, with a friend of mine, we were going to a bluegrass concert LOL, and had to walk up out of my place to my sister's house next door...she was driving us, and it was really dark outside and all of a sudden I looked up and there it was...it streaked from east to west and went all the way across the sky. I yelled at my friend LOOK...and we were both amazed. The thing seemed very close...almost looked like what you see during a fireworks show. Just above us. We considered ourselves very very lucky to be outside just at that specific time. I've never seen anything like it in my 66 years, and probably won't ever be lucky enuf to see it again. Nancy
This video sucks....
+Chris Kelley Ah, we finally have our first internet troll. BTW Chris, your videos are really something special, everyone, check them out!

Hey Mike can you tell us how you mounted your camera? Was it a GoPro? Did you have any stabilization whether mounted or in post production? Thanks,
I saw it! Liberia, Costa Rica :)
