Perhaps as kids, we just love to play in the snow! Especially if you live in an area where snow comes after a fulllll year 😯
Woah,that's a interesting shape for a camera.
Looks amazing! Cameras are interesting
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
I would absolutely use it if it worked.
We used to run catamaran on that Beach, perfect wind. Great way to get out to the Mokulua's
wow what an amazing view! ❤
Aloha!
Did the film get into the slides? Or was it like develop it for paper, was it much moore expensive then papercopies?

They are in every street corner in India is 80s and 90s used for all kinds of soda water. Plain color lemon flavoured etc.
USA needs this. it slows how fast you can chug soda.
SO interesting!! Thank you for sharing 🫶🏻
amazing mechanics!
I just found your channel and genuinely love the videos! A great change from the garage that shorts present. Your videos are very cool!
Yesss
wow thank you for sharing this, i had no idea! how fun it would be if they bring this model back
It’s used in Japan allot.
im 🥇
We still use these in India, the terms you could search for is "Banta" or "Goli Soda"
That's a cool one, glad I stayed to watch!
It is a cool bottle, and it's a wondeful example of something that's not only functional is also beautifully designed...
Turn the chuck while pulling the trigger ,it just the brushes sticking or tap it on the bench while pulling the trigger.
If its more than 40 years old it's fixable! Everything today is built like trash. Everything back then was built with pride and integrity. Try to find an old timer to fix it!
New brushes. Check the switch too.
I have one just like it. Mine just stopped working, I'm hoping to repair it..
Notice it's not made of plastic. I believe the reason it quit is very minor and can be repaired easily. I suggest keeping it. There are always lovers of old tools around that can repair it.
Get a holster made for it and freak out your neighbors.
Thanks for showing something tgat goes back so long ago. Power tools have come a long way
I didn't know ramune was from the mid 18th century lol
Thanks for watching ... here’s some additional history:The Japanese drink was formulated by a Scottish pharmacist in the year 1884.
Hmm interesting
Thanks for watching..
I never knew there was such a history to this design! I just grew up with it as the bottle used for the Japanese soda everyone's mentioning, Ramune. Thats cool af
Thanks for watching...this some more of the history: The name of the bottle that the drink is in is the Codd bottle and it was designed and patented by an Englishman in the year 1872. it was not only used for this Japanese drink, but for a number of other carbonated soda drinks.
Ramune.

Don’t throw away just send it to fix and have a beautiful memory
Probably needs new brushes
It's gorgeous
Ever tought making longer video?
Woah its a super old ramune bottle
Thanks for watching...So, here's the other part of the story: the Japanese carbonated drink Ramume was actually formulated by a Scottish pharmacist living in Japan in 1884 and this unusual bottle was used for this drink and it is actually known as a Codd bottle which was designed and patented in the year 1872 and was named after a soft-drink maker Hiram Codd who lived in London.
@@barryhillman That's really cool. Thanks for sharing the short long version. It's really neat how something that phased out on one side of the globe has carried on in another.
@@barryhillman That's so cool! thank you for sharing all this with us!
thats an old sunbeam replace the brushes and grease the gears it will live on
Please get it fixed. Don't toss it. I also like the idea of it being displayed, but you couldn't replace it for 1/10th the cost of fixing it.
Keep It.
Aren't those drills electric? Get a cord.
It has a cord...i realize I didn't show it in the video.
These may be/are "memories" ❤ of you and your dad... only you could share with family members (children, grandchildren), friends,... Today's people would find it interesting what things looked like before...
So true! Thank you for your comments. I will show it to our children and grandchilld...and i will also include at museum presentations i do at schools...young children love viewing unusual artifacts, such as this, from the past.
Keep it and put it on display... it's your memories and it's so cool looks like a ray guy haha
i agree it would make an interesting display. i'll probably take it as an item to show at lectures i do on the history of technology of common everyday items.
Put it on your bookshelf for decoration and think of your father when you see it
i agree...i think that's a great idea.
I Hope you find a repair Café nearby that can fix it. So sad to throw good things away because we lost the ability to fix them by ourselves… most old things made before millennium have a quality and durability you won’t find anymore. Thank you for your post!
Thank you for your comments. I'll see if there might be somewhere to get it repaired...i agree with that many things in the past where built to last...
Try turning the tip and pulling the trigger while it’s connected. Sometimes it just needs a little push, especially if it hasn’t run in a very long time.
Thanks, I'll try that...
You can have it repaired
ok, i'll see it that's possible.
Those old drill motors can be repaired easily.
Thank you for your comment, i will try to get it repaired..
