A really late comment, but I'm pretty sure the song mentions about the Chernobyl disaster at 旧四ロンドを微笑う劣等 Where 旧四 is likely referring to the 4th reactor at Chernobyl, which exploded. Found this information from a Japanese article dissecting the lyrics.

Abit out of context but when you mention the identical between the truck scene in fuchi's dream realm and the scene of tobi in the fight song make me kinda figured out that in the newest song ( Sayonara end roll ) there are line of lyrics saying "Let's join hands to create a circle" and "Why do some people refused to join hands?" ( I don't remember it clearly ) is also kinda relate to the "How to eat life" where there are people holding hands together goes along the line of "I wanted someone to hold my hand" but tobi doesn't actually hold theirs. I don't know if any of what I am saying is making any sense but it just stuck in my head for a while :')) (Disclaimer: this is the first video I watched of yours and my English is really bad so I'm sorry if I say anything wrong 😭)

When i first saw the design of the character on the thumbnail of kyu kurarin, my first thought was literally Sayori, because of the hair. Then i searched up the lyrics and saw the "my heart hangs in the air" ☠️

when I firstly discovered this song, it appeared on "recommeded next video" of some DDLC let's play video so I immediately noticed this song is about Sayori lol

I think one aspect a bit missed was that the yellow symbolism more or less represents happiness. I think that is why the yellow eyes as a Bucchi, to Fuchi, when he was a child (possibly before the dad incident) was the last time he was happy, the last time he was able to laugh and have fun freely (and in the lyrics, "This is where I can be myself"). He probably had to grow up fast after the dad incident. As for Zingai, i think other people probably put it better than me already but i see it in two ways at the same time: They're a reflection of that person's heart, their feelings, who they are, and what they like. The form that takes isn't always immediately obvious (like with Tobi and Baku, or in the Kara no Kioku manga with Rei and Q-ta) but it still probably true in some way. At the same time they are their own individuals in a way, they have their own societies, they are their own person to an extent, however influenced by their partner they are. so for Mr Creepy Pasta, he does care about Fuchi and wants to protect him, but as an individual doesn't know the best way, partly because Fuchi doesn't know it either. So at the end of the MV hes regretful that despite his best attempts to help Fuchi, he still ended up hurting him, and not just emotionally, Fuchi ended up hurt pretty bad physically too because of him. Speaking of that scene, I think Pasta's bleeding eye is both because of the shattering of the dream world, but also because of how badly fuchi ended up hurt physically too. They're connected after all. With my "6 months later" foresight, it might also be related to Fuchi's deteriorating vision after Insomnia, as we see in Sayonara End Roll. I wonder if you'll cover Sayonara End Roll at some point? theres a lot there too. Theres also a lot of similarities between Fuchi and Tobi that could be worth a video if you wanted to. Anyway long comment, sorry, good video!

I've been translating the kyu-kurarin's lyrics and the sentence "saigo mita no wa sonna yume" says "that was the dream I say in the end", we can extract the meaning by translating word by word: Saigo = last Mita = past simple form for verb "miru" (to see) No = particle that transforms the "saigo mita" in to a substantive-like construction Wa = particle that signalizes the theme of the sentence Sonna = "that kind of" "something like that" Yume = dream Translation: "The last thing I saw was a dream like that" I consider this translation more devastating because it says directly (saying "the last thing I saw" instead of "I saw at the end" makes me more aware of what's happening, I believe it's because "the end" might seem a period of time longer than "the last thing" that seems shorter and faster, making me conscious that Kurari Chan will stop existing in a bunch of seconds) that while she was hanging she imagined her whole life being happy ("aa shiawase ni nacchimau yo" = "aa I will be happy") and crying in the boy's chest, maybe regretting doing the chuuburarin trick.
