I would love to hear from anyone who has done a Vintage on its' side stand. I'm trying to do a change, but there is not enough clearance to put a pan under it or get the socket wrench in there ad it leans too far over. Anyone done this?

2019 Chieftain dark Horse - on refill, put in 4.5qts, run for 30 seconds, add additional 1.5 qts, then run for 3-4 min varying rpms around 2k to 2300. Stop engine, wait 30 seconds, check dipstick with bike upright (make sure its fully seated). You should be above "add" by about 15-20%, which is where you want to be. Bike has to be at operating temp to get a good read. 😊

Neat headlight unit, I know some might dislike the exhaust, but 2 to 1 means more power. Although if you _really_ dislike the way it looks, I'm sure most will be changing it anyways.

fuel tank quantity is just plain dumb.From 3.3 to 3.4 gallons, how stupid. Design team need a slapping for that. Should have gone to 4 gallons.

I know a retired farmer in Minnesota that put 510,XXX on a 14' Chieftain. Rode it every chance he got year round as long as the roads were free of ice and snow. Hit a deer, and that run came to a end. Polaris has that bike breaking it down and evaluating the wear on every component.

There’s nothing wrong with the current Scouts. They just need an LED headlamp, better rear shocks and cruise-control. (After all, they are cruisers.)

The current Scout is an amazing machine, other than a very few and minor tweaks to keep it modern, I wouldn’t mess too much with a winning formula.
