Very true about Pickford. You hate to play against him but great to have on your side as he is such a nuisance and wind up merchant. Although as a NUFC fan, it was quite nice to see Schar beat him comfortably but for us to still go through. Feel really bad for Anthony Gordon though. Southgate clearly doesn't trust him but I really feel he could have had a big impact even from the bench in this tournament.

Nobody seemed to catch wind of this at all! Amazing signing for the club, shows a lot about the ambition the owners have just when it was needed - a difficult few days followed by really exciting news.

Mitchell certainly seems to have a decent track record and the way this deal was done is much more in keeping with how those in charge have operated in the past - very little speculation, just deal announced. It makes it even more curious how the PSR situation was allowed to develop into the 48hr scramble it appeared to be.

The psr crap has changed football remember when nufc got taken over their fans coming out with the 300 billion richest club. In reality the club is as rich as a 1 billion club.

Referring has been abysmal especially the offside. Go back to linemen raising the flag for clear offsides. Far too many yellow cards handed out by pedantic refs.

The arguing is not about the technology or the ref, but about the rules. They are not right for the game and not fair to the players. Offside should be when there is an advantage, not when a foot is turned the “wrong way” - advantage is when the weight and movement of the player is turned forward. Not the case here. Maybe the line should not be at the foot, but at the knee - biomechanically that would be way more telling of an advantage in play. About the hand - un unintentional hand shot at from close distance should never be a penalty - ubalanced consequence. Unless it Blocks a shot at goal of course. So proximity and intent should be considered. Penalty WAY too harsh of a deal to be dealt in that exchange. And game deciding.

the ref did the right calls here. I dont get this arguing. Offside is offside, handball is handball.

Great video Harry. I think this is possibly the first time that those in charge have really dropped the ball. How has this situation been allowed to occur where we were seemingly £60million down in a PSR hole? Also, how have other revenue streams not happened yet such as training kit sponsor, training ground sponsor, stadium naming rights etc. All would make a huge difference to PSR and 2 years down the line still nothing on those fronts.

Sorry but DCL would be a horrendous buy, he's not premier League proven at all, never had a good goal scoring season since ancelotti and is just as injury prone as Wilson, wouldn't even pay £20m for him.

He'd (DCL) have been a good THIRD striker, with better stats that are frequently put out there. But! With 1 year left on his contract, no way worth £37m. Minteh having not played in anger at all for us yet, and with PSR needing sorting, I agree time to sell. Ideally to Germany.

Ronaldo is not just a notable name on the field he is a notable player on the field, he gave quite a few chances to his team against Turkey that could’ve been converted.
