Reminds me of the "Emergency at the Everyday" LP by the Mall, a hyper-obscure SF band that lay right at the crossroads of hardcore punk and electroclash, just as these dudes seem to. The youtuber of my childhood (whose videos I still think are gorgeous) once inserted home music into the ending of his videos, and specifically the melody Were Finally Landing. And now I always associate this music with him and with how easy it was to live in those years when I watched his videos as a child. Now this person has completely left YT for Twitch and I hate watching streams, so essentially for me he just disappeared. I still miss seeing new videos coming out so much, they definitely shaped some of my sense of humor.
