Lol the more I think about it, the more I think these Minifigures make the set more worth it

I'm a big fan of most Marvel movies and characters so I'll take what I can get when it comes to minifigures

It is nice to be able to turn the new helmets for sure so they're not in one pose all the time. The custom mold is slightly different it's hard to tell unless you're looking at them next to each other

It's a bummer to see the little mistakes like that, I need to call them as I see them

From what I'm seeing it's sold out everywhere. I would try using the geekxchange run by geekover40 on Instagram, it's a monthly marketplace that has been useful for me on picking up older minifigs

Yeah the movie Gambit suit was pretty comic accurate

My guess is they're sold out online but they might still have stock in their retail stores

for example in one of the stop motion lego marvel vs dc videos from back in the day, the animator made either hawkeye or someone swing around the grip of their weapon to kick someone through a window

I feel like the only X-Men character that should be a big fig is Blob. I agree that a molded torso of some sort would help with the height

I was just looking at comic guardians teams to see what versions I would want this morning. The white armor suit for Gamora was made by Earthly Brick and I got the classic starlord helmet from Jin. The MRM Drax is good enough for me. Comic rocket would be nice to get, and honestly I like Movie Groot

I don't really collect custom DC minifigs so that would be tough. I have most of the official Bat family minifigs

I have the Decool and SY version too, I preordered the Abnormal version and will probably buy the Atlas Bricks figures too

This is a custom printed gambit, but I'm sure the X-mansion version will also be awesome

I was really tempted to get that one when it was announced, but the way the side of the torso was printed really threw the look off to me.

I think the hood also had some of the print rub off too unfortunately. I'd like Jakas stuff a lot more if the quality was more consistent

I really appreciate that 😁 I try my best to avoid stuff that might not have great quality which helps a lot! I can't buy everything so I try to only get one great version of each character if I can

Also, the print is a little “cartoony” compared to the original SDCC minifig, but it’s pretty consistent with Lego’s current style.

This is a pretty good figure to get from him as your first. I'm glad creators are giving more opportunities to own certain character designs like this one

It's definitely unfortunate from the standpoint of displaying the figure in the original packaging. As someone that now has cases, I can appreciate the packaging taking up less space now. I'm definitely going to miss the uniqueness of the original cards though

@Brickrattyop I know right, i love the clam shell packaging, it reminds me of the sdcc figures, i hang them on wall for display, it's shame it's gone now

I've been tempted by their stuff a couple of times. Their Tesla power armor stands out to me the most, but their face prints and a lot of their other minifigures are ugly to me

@@Brickrattyop Yeah, the figures are rough. Particularly the faces--they have a greenish tint in person to the skin tone, so I tend to swap em out with the CloneArmyCustoms heads. But, the armor itself is really detailed. I have two of their T60s (one is plain, one is the damaged one) and two T51s. I'd love to see them release an updated T45 and I think they're supposed to be making some Fallout 2 classic Advanced Power Armor that I'd like to see. The Tesla looks cool, but I'm not huge on the APA Mk II designs--I prefer the classic Enclave armor more. I go back and forth a lot between theirs and the Natsty Bricks armors for my favorite designs. But of the six different customs I've tried out, these two are the best in my opinion. I'd say to stay away from the LeyileBrick armors--their proportions are all out of whack

It's nice when characters don't have specific likenesses, so you can switch the heads. The only thing that sucks about the natstybricks ones is having to paint them on your own, but I've been pretty happy with them. I really like how metallic the micromee ones look, it's tough to match that with paint

@@Brickrattyop Agreed on the natstybricks. I have way too many things to paint up and can't add in more. Luckily, they stock some prepainted ones every now and then to help out. The best I've managed with metallic looks is to use some of those Gundam paint markers, with some Citadel Nuln Oil, then a glossy coat to seal. But it's nowehere as nice as the Micromee still, lol

Yeah the helmet and hair for the enclave head were really loose, that would be my main complaint

@@Brickrattyop honestly I think which helmet is better from either firestar toys or natysa bricks depends on which kind of power armor you’re trying to make

@@Brickrattyop if you want the more big and bulky power armor, fire star is the way to go but if you want the one from the very early fallout games and anything before fallout four then natysa bricks is the way to go

@@Brickrattyop and the whole reason why the fire star power armor is simple the person who made it input brick has this very certain style so it could fit with any era of Lego
