Untold story of a law student in Malaysia & things I would tell myself before law school
Просмотров 13 тыс.3 года назад
This is something that I have been trying to hide for the past years. I disappeared from social media for quite some time because I felt deeply ashamed of myself. Making this video has lifted a weight off my shoulder and I am feeling much better by acknowledging my failure. . There are still a lot of things that needs to be done but insyaAllah I believe that Allah will ease everything! Ameen.. ...
sis, tuition fee tu 25% sis bayar lumpsum dgn universiti ka? dan sebelum ke UK, msti ada RM150k dlm bank utk bank statement? 😱
ya betul, byr lump sum sbb ada diskaun. kalau bayar sikit2 kena bayar full price. iya untuk tunjuk yg mampu sara hidup di uk selama at least 9 bulan 😬
just got into foundation of law, wish me luck
Best of luck! i hope you're enjoying it 😬
Hi kak, I need help. I applied to MMU law as well and met all their requirements, however they gave me another course instead. May I know what you told them to make them appeal your case? Thank you so much!
hi there, could u dm me on ig. my handle is in the description. thanks 😊
@@naztsyea alright kak!☺️
Hey there, i wanted to ask…we need to book an appointment first and them sent the documents rite? Where do we sent the document actually?
Can i further my study to UK directly after SPM?
Hello Ms. Natasya! Your story gave me hope in life, I am batch 05 and took my SPM in 2023. During my form 5 journey my dad got into an accident which lead him to be bed ridden and he was our bread winner but after that incident my mom and my sister went to earn some money which also lead me to take care of my dad. Taking care of a bed ridden person is very difficult, not only that I also got to cook, clean, go to school, study and etc. My form 5 journey was very difficult for me since I wasn't prepared for the tragic incident to happen. Furthermore, my dad had his operation when I was having my last spm paper, add maths AND MY BDAY was also the next day so I was really scared and stressed. Scared that I might lose my dad, scared that I might disappoint my parents, scared that a funeral will be held up on my bday...I was scared throughout my whole spm journey but I was also sad because my parents couldn't be there for me when I needed them the most in my life. Sometimes, I have to skip school to take care of my dad in hospital, bring him to check ups and etc. I also went to school late because I have to take bus and walk to my school because of this my school teachers hated me, weirdly neither of them understood my situation and they will call me attention seeker whenever I give them the reason why I am late or why I absent on that day. So I was very very vulnerable at that moment and I was very caught up into my personal problems, time went by and spm was 3 months away and that time I started to panic a lot because I didn't study well. I missed a lot in my studies but thankfully I had the best friend group. They motivated me to study, helped me out to understand on certain topics and also stood up for me whenever teachers degraded me. Teachers degraded me when I ask them questions and they will even ask why was I absent on that day when they were teaching that topic. I told them my situation and they also know it but I don't know what makes it so difficult for them to believe my issues like THEY JUST KEPT ON DENYING THE TRUTH. They even got proof of my situation but they were still cold blooded towards me. I remember my chemistry teacher a.k.a my class teacher said "You are so problematic, you are ruining mine and our class reputation and I'm not gonna waste my time on you anymore. if you ask me questions I will not answer them. Kids who don't have parents that can support them will fail in life. Trust me, you won't get up in life until your parents are able to support you." those words killed me inside and I cried to my best friend about this. She cheered me up and pushed me to study. Those 3 months I was studying all night, because during the day I got a family to take care of, I study when they were asleep. The only time I will have a proper sleep is on the weekends. Trying to study the whole science stream subjects in 3 months and having a huge responsibility at the same time, it was a living hell. My life was a living hell. I finally did my spm and my results weren't as bad as I expected but I was sad cz...I can't get into law school with that result. I cried a lot that I can't pursue my dreams but like you said I have to finish what I started. I gave myself a dream and that is to become a Juvie lawyer, I can't just give it up like that. it will kill me slowly and I know it. So on the same day I got my results I immediately went and registered to retake my spm. I had so much time that I could've used it to study but sadly time flies so fast, I wasted all my time on my family. Don't get me wrong I love my family and I love how I can help them. Even they feel bad for giving a lot of work. SPM 2024 was also 3 months away and I did so much of past year questions for 3 months. Now I'm waiting for the results, and to be honest I'm very scared. I am not having any high hopes but hey at least I am not giving up on myself or my life. Thank you, if you read this very long passage
Hello, this is Mily and I am from Bangladesh. I want to do 2nd masters (LL.M) in malaysia . Can you advise me which university admission process is easy? It would be helpful if you reply my comment. 😊
are you doing llm or llb?
hi! i did LLB
Thank you for sharing!! Very useful information! 😊
hii may i know what type of educational evidence that you're uploaded? spm cert ke?
I just got my spm results and finding out I'm not eligible for any science programmes but lots of law. I was interested in law before but hearing people saying it was hard made me doubt if I can do it. After watching this, I was given a HUGE boost of confidence. I cried when I saw u got 4 offers, IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU ✨😭 If I get accepted for asasi undang2 I'm going for it. I'll let this video be a reminder to not give up ✨
Hi!! May I ask how it went for you? I'm interested in Asasi Perundangan myself
Hello! May I know what month did your official results came out? I have applied through UCAS earlier this year but I haven’t gotten an official confirmation until now
hi! u should've gotten replies by now! 🥺 usually it takes around 7 weeks. the earliest response i got was only 2 weeks after i submitted my application.
@@naztsyea Hey just wanted to update you that i got my official confirmation last week! If you don’t mind me asking, did you get your flight tickets first or did you wait for your visa to be approved? Do you have any advice for this? ❤️
Proud of u
Salam.

Hi
What a level grade is required to study in malaysia law school and also the a level subject requirements?😊
Damn, you got my dream course AND my dream country, I will get to it! Pray for SPM badge 2023 🙏🏻
you'll be where u want to be sooner or later! best of luck 🥰
May I ask what should I select in the qualification shortlist in the education section? (I have a diploma in mechanical engineering from UiTM)
omg sorry i really don't remember anything anymore 😂 but there should be 'other qualifications' on it ya?
@@naztsyea Yeah, so it's not considered as higher diploma or BTEC diploma right?
yea you can actually choose higher diploma! it should be equivalent to UiTM diploma.
you're so underrated 😭
Sis hi , sabah area mana ?

Hello sis! Just want to ask, you transfer to UK through a programme in MMU or u apply through UCAS and self funded? Another thing, since u will go to UK, will u be exempted from CLP (since MMU is free from CLP) or still have to do CLP/ BPTC? Thank you in advance 😁
hello! yes tru UCAS & self funded. MMU doesnt hv transfer programme. but actually u can always transfer to any uni in the UK from any uni in Malaysia. as long as the requirements are met. I will need to take the CLP if im planning to practice in Malaysia. CLP exemption only applies to those who completed 4 years of law degree with Malaysian law syllabus. :D hope this clarifies!
akak i have a few question about UCAS. how can i contact you?
tru instagram or email, link in description 😄
hi i know this question may sounds dumb, but aoa beza postgraduate denga. undergraduate ye? saya lepas stpm jadi saya postgraduate ya?
undergraduate mksudnya belum dpt first degree. postgraduate dah obtain first degree. jdi postgraduate refers to Masters & PHD. undergrad pula degree, diploma, stpm etc
where can i contact you to ask more detail about studying in uk?🥹
hello! u can find me on ig or email me! its in the description
Just know about your channel today! When i was thinking to transfer uni from Russia to UK lol😂 but it was impossible at the moment, will just proceed my study here. Hope when i travel there you will still be there😊
Hi sis..study overseas kena ada A level ke??..or i just can study overseas with SPM results??
helo! A level setaraf dgn stpm/asasi/diploma jdi org ambil A level slalunya untuk trus masuk ke degree. with spm boleh je study overseas but kna ambil A level/asasi/diploma dlu di UK. lpas habis, bru boleh ambil degree. but this will cost u more la. thats why malaysians ramai ambik A level d Malaysia, sbb rsnya in Malaysia cost A level dlm rm20k above. d UK usually rm100k+/year. and A level memang laku untuk msuk any uk uni for degree. hope this clarifies.
@@naztsyea aww..thank you so much
more ‘day in the life’ please. u r doing better than 95% of uni vloggers out there simply by keeping d camera still. oftentimes, d jerkiness of uni vlogs are off-putting.
this means a lot! thanks so much ☺️ will surely do another one~
congrats Naz! Like you, I also did all the applications myself and sadly, the people I asked ghosted me too. Happily, I will attend Cambridge to earn an MPhil in a few weeks’ time. All the best to you.
Omg that's so cool! u just inspire me to be a better student! 🥺 All the best to you too Dr. Jarrod! 🤩
Assalammualikum Naztsye - nice vlog
Ahhh I love your videos so muchhh you explained a lot about the UK study process and your intro is so aesthetic!!! Btw I have a lil question here 😅 do you know what are the available scholarships we can apply to after foundation year in law? I'm going to MMU for foundation year and I really wanna transfer to UK for degree 😿 sorry for bothering and I hope u can reply 😻
hello! sorry for the late replies~ im not really sure about scholarships, but if you are planning to transfer to the UK, i would suggest u to find Uni that offer transfer programme. like BAC. and u will only do 3 years degree instead of 4!
many of my friends here are MARA scholars, i asked them how they got the scholarship. they said go and do diploma under MARA colleges. like MJII or KUPTM. ur chance to get MARA scholarship is higher if u do diploma under MARA
Hi, may i know what documents that need to translate? Birth certificate ?
Birth cert and any edu transcript thats not in english!
