You seem young enough to have the time and growth to get good. Remember that in any genre what really connects with people is being authentic and making a CONNECTION with the audience. It better be scary to record those words. that's how personal you need to go. And people that feel that way, whoi are MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF PEOPLE on the planet, you'll get enough if you do it right. But at the core, remember this. This is the first building block you need to build everytging else on. But the why, the what and you identity, and who you want to share your self with, without that core you'll never make it. The rest is really complex and doable, but hard. Be willing to work HARD. And if you dont figure out the questions and really have a reason (living a little longer tends to help with that but plenty of people succeed young too) Otherwise dont even bother making music
