This sounds perfect. We are planting our small ones from last year , I am going to be honest they went in to the ground in March!!! I know, but I forgot about them. They were hardy as hell, taste great and I know they will be good. The big cloves are supermarket, they donot store as well but I am trying them out this year. ​@@SecretChateauI'm so pleased to hear that. I have lots of moles,as do the neighbours. Sadly, some of them are eco vandals and put sirens, diesel and who knows what else on the land. I love the little fellas.

Such an amazing traditional skill to have. I have seen videos of a woman who is a trained shoemaker and she makes them all by hand. She does Victorian and 1920s shoes and boots. Such an indepth process, I had no idea how they build up the layers. I can still remember my Mum picking out my shoes when I was a child, always quality over fashion. Oh how disappointed I was when they hardly wore out and I had to wait to outgrow them in the hope of getting a more trendy pair of shoes. ❤ Tracy
