Mom and I enjoyed a great day together in the boat, many fish were caught and many laughs were had! I do believe she ended up catching more than I did! It was great to see her set the hook and rip some lips!

Crappie CATCH & COOK!

One of the best parts of living here in the Northwoods is the endless amount of angling options. If one species isn't biting you can always chase another and put together a good day on the water! PLUS SIZED Panfish
Просмотров 34521 день назад
As summer draws to an end, I find myself seeing more and more panfish starting to school up in their normal areas. I couldn't resist busting out the tried and true slip bobber for some fun! This day took me back to being a kid, riding my bike down to the local lake with "shorty" in hand. Watching a bobber go down will never get old!
DOG DAYS of Summer Walleye Fishing!
Просмотров 29328 дней назад
In the North Woods we naturally experience some slower fishing periods throughout the mid summer time frame. At this time of year the fish are more spread out then they will be all season due to the consistent water temps throughout the lake and abundance of food. Walleyes can be literally anywhere from 3 feet of water to 30! On this day I found myself working small pods of shallow weed relatin...
MID SUMMER TROLLING
Просмотров 355Месяц назад
I decided to brush up on my trolling game and venture to a NEW to me lake. This lake just so happens to be one of the largest inland lakes in my area, which has vast areas of ground to cover. Perfectly suited for getting out the planer boards and dragging some baits!
RIP JIGGING AGGRESSIVE Summer Walleyes!
Просмотров 1 тыс.Месяц назад
By far my favorite way to fish is ripping any kind of plastic on a medium lite jig rod. There is nothing quite like getting slammed by walleye after walleye. The feeling of getting a bite is one of the few things in life that will never get old! www.youtube.com/@InlandAngling?sub_confirmation=1 St Croix Rods stcroixrods.com/collections/rods Sufix Advanced Super Line (10 LB) www.rapala.com/us_en...
SMASHING Walleyes On Swimbaits!

As we get into the heart of summer, fishes metabolism is going to be the highest that it will be all year long. These fish have to feed more actively to keep up with it. Utilizing faster presentations such as plastics and working them aggressively can be a very productive method this time of year. www.youtube.com/@InlandAngling?sub_confirmation=1 RODS USED - stcroixrods.com/collections/rods Shi...
NEW LAKE Success!

Join me as I take a summertime adventure to a brand new body of water, in search of the walleyes. Going to a new lake and trying to break it down as quickly as possible is very fun and challenging at the same time. Nothing is more rewarding than finding success on a new body of water! Finesse Fishing Summer Walleyes
Просмотров 5812 месяца назад
As we head into the heart of summer, Walleyes can be fussy at times. I find that these periods of tough fishing are mainly dictated on forage. When there are ample opportunities for the fish to feed, such as bug hatches, things can be tough for anglers. A great way to talk a few fish into eating is always going to a lightweight/live bait presentation and slowing everything down. Working through...
Plastic VS Live Bait, Who will come out ahead?
Просмотров 1842 месяца назад
Always a treat to get grandpa out in the in the boat and try to put him on some fish, These summertime fish can be aggressive or very lethargic at any point throughout the day. I find it best to have multiple tactics at the ready to have a successful day on the water. Watch to the end to see who prevails in the plastic vs live bait match up! Thanks everyone for the support on the recent videos,...
This plastic catches walleyes everywhere!

Quick afternoon walleye beatdown, It seems the summer bite is in full swing and the fish are on the chew! Fishing on the weekends can be pretty hectic as spots get crowded quite easily. At the end of the day you have to get on the water any time you can and enjoy it! www.youtube.com/@InlandAngling?sub_confirmation=1
Versatility is key for summer time success!
Просмотров 1552 месяца назад
As the summer time temps sky rocket, the sky's let loose with absurd amounts of rain which equals some long lasting dreaded bug hatches. Keys for success during this time frame is all about versatility, having many presentations ready to go at any given point and not being afraid to switch gears and chase some more willing fish!

The best fisherman I've ever known

Deadly tactic during a bug hatch!
Просмотров 1653 месяца назад
During the early summer and summer months, it is common knowledge that we will have several hug hatches, which most of the time equals less than ideal fishing conditions. As the fish have a literal buffet available to them at all times, join me as I piece together a pattern to get the job done!
I figured you were frm here wen you said "jeez". I'm frm Two Rivers. No lakes that big around here. Good video.
Thanks for watching! Tight lines
Great to have a great relationship with your mom. My mom is currently battling dementia and some other related issues. Life is short. Jesus blessed you. Savor every moment.
I’m sorry to hear about your mom, I hope for the best. I will continue to savor the time I have on the water with family! Take care
I watched to see what plastic you were using, because that’s what you said and you didn’t show it at all. Lame. I don’t really watch videos to watch someone else reel fish in over and over again. It doesn’t teach you anything.
Everyone has a different reason for watching, and that's fair. I do break down exact baits in different videos. The bait being used in this video is a kalins jerk minnow jr mini. Hope that helps.
Hey, sorry I sounded like a jerk. I did learn some stuff about the action. And thanks for telling me what you were using. I’ll check out you other videos I’m just learning about walleye fishing. I’ve been concentrating for the past year on big lake trout at flaming gorge in Utah and Wyoming. I wanted to expand my species and learn about walleye.
@@garrybolinder6631 absolutely, always good to learn! I was in the same boat a few years ago. Tight lines!

My favorite fish to fish for. Too bad they are hard to find where I go.
Defiantly one of my favorite fish aswell, Thanks for watching!
Awesome lunch, and your not a loser, your a leader. Proud!
Thanks for the response love the video can learn a lot just by watching u jig
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
Man, you make it look so easy. I can't wait to get out there. Can you please make a video of how you look for fish on your side imaging?
Some days the fish make you look good! I do have plans to do that in the future!
Love the videos. Good information too.
Thanks for watching!
There are boats around so gotta play cool. 😂😂😂 I always use split tail minnows in the summer and I don't get bites like that. How are you choosing your spots where you stop and try jigging? Any pointers?
@@bad_vaporizer typically I have better success with them up shallow, anything less than 15 feet seems to be ideal. Usually that’s on a weed or rock edge, I drive the edge until I see pods of fish on MSI (mega side imaging) and then set up on them!
@@InlandAngling I have lowrance so my side imaging is not as good. I'll try this out this weekend. Some of your videos you jig more aggressively than others. Is there a reason why?
@@bad_vaporizer Yes, I base my cadence on the mood of the fish. I do a better job explaining that in my Rip Jigging walleyes video at around the 5:30 Mark ruclips.net/video/krXYyhDGN0A/видео.html
I have msi but can’t determine what the fish look like on it any pointers
@@johnwalker9388 honestly the best thing for learning to use your MSI, is literally time on the water. When you mark something you think is a fish, throw a few casts at it and you’ll gain confidence as you catch the target species
Dalton at his finest. I laughed all video long. I could tell you felt like a kid again!! Awesome video.

Another great day. Hate that empty seat next to you, but he is watching!😅
Yes he is! I'm never fishing alone 🙏
Just watched the video of Dalton and my brother Ed. I am so glad he had a great day on the water. It is such a waste that he passed 2 days later from an infection he was suffering from even on that day and didn't realize it. He was a great angler, a professional lure maker, loved the outdoors, just a good man. I will miss him terribly. He was my friend as well as a brother. Good luck Dalton, Ed will be watching. Bob😢
Very fortunate we were able to have a great last day together. Every trip with ed was a good one, regardless if the fish bit or not! He'll be watching over both of us I'm sure!
Give em the business
Nice Walters!!!
