Yes, I’ve dived back into music big-time, since I retired several years ago, and really enjoying playing live by myself, although I would kill to have you sitting behind me, laying down a beat versus using the canned ones from my looping machine! I have followed you over the years and so amazingly impressed by your authoring books and playing which I’m glad you’re still doing. I saw a recently brother John had posted an incredible video which does nothing more than cement his amazing talent. I wish we all lived closer together. I’m not on social media. We retired 7 years ago. I haven’t gigged since December 2016. I do sit and play along with my favorite artists. No, no one would believe our past history together! We should write a book! Hoping you have a blessed Christmas!

I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where all three of my kids and 4 granddaughters live. John lives in La Conner, Washington state and from what I can tell may be still playing some jazz gigs.

We have 4 “kids”. Two in upstate New York, one in Atlanta Georgia and one in Mt Pleasant SC. 10 grandchildren.
