Sudhasindhu.Especially in tha sowkhyama song will permanently occupy my heart. i do not know how to express my feeling on hearing this beautiful song.My sashtang namaskarams .the experienced violin and mridangam artists deserve very high appreciation for their excellent performance. amazing mridangam!! had never heard about this fabulous artist before. Ganesh Kumaresh in their prime and also their hubris. These were the arrogance years of Ganesh Kumaresh.I remember as a young teenager - they came to mysuru and got on the stage with slippers on - for ganesha chaturthi program. When they were asked to take them off, they just flung their feet to send the chappals flying from the dais. Everybody was upset about their uncouth behavior

First, thank you very much for posting this amazing concert. We attended this in person and it was one of the best concerts ever. In a small way, the recording does not do justice as the live concert had a great sound system with amazing acoustics. The sounds from the voice, violin, Mridangam and Ghatam were very pure. The selection of Krithis and ragas were excellent. Amazing voice control. Started with a varnam in Sankarabaranam, followed by great krithis in Saveri, Aarabi, Varali, Manirangu (Jaya Jaya Padmnaba - fantastic krithi), Hamir Kalyani, ,Lalitha Panchamam (ParamaPurusahm - what a great krithi and Ragam). Then came the great Kamboji Alpana, with both the vocal and violin simply outstanding. The main krithi was Rasa Vilasalolo which was sung in an outstanding manner. Thani after this piece was excellent. The sounds from Mridangam and Ghatam was very pure and simply enjoyable to the best. Then followed a very brisk RTP in Thodi, with the Thanam entirely on Violin - Kamalakiran was simply out of this world. Thukkadas followed and they were just great. Neelambari, Ahiri, Chenchurutti, thillana in Ananda Bairavi (?) and finally an amazing Mangalam in Yadukula Kamboji. As expected, Kamalakiran was just outstanding and the mridangam and Ghatam were also flawless. One of the best concerts I have been to. Three full hours of sheer enjoyment. Thanks SSVT for arranging and posting the video.
