If you have Channel Points (affiliate/partner), you can create custom channel points and name it Shell Game (or what you prefer). Just make sure you match the same name in the mypando.tv extension configuration page.

Is there anyway to customize the name "Pando" in the chat to match the name of your pet? People respond to chat with @Pando.... I think it would be cool if the @Pando in chat could be changed to @Petname in chat.

I found it under my "about me" part of my twitch channel. Make sure you add it as one of your panels under "my extensions"

We want to update and improve the experience, but Twitch is not allowing new extension updates since Februari/March 2024.

Hi, a component will show up on your channel if you are live. The extension page can be found by clicking on your profile, go to creator dashboard, then go to extensions

I've seen it work, but I think those creators used a IRL setup with an active pc at home. In all cases, you need a browser source to run it.

Is there are message displayed or is it just an endless wheel turning (like it's loading)? if you would open the link in the a browser like Chrome, does it show the pet? We can only display 1 source. This is to avoid the pet spamming messages in chat. So if you see the message displayed, there might be a source active somewhere else (maybe an old or maybe it's hidden). Make sure everything is closed and only copy the original source like in the video Let me know if this helps!

because every interactions is either through the extension, channel points or first party (subscriber, follow, etc.)

If you create a new custom channel point, you just have to make sure it will match the same name as your configuration in mypando.tv so custom channel point: Feed Pando Pando configuration page: Feed Pando The match should work after you refresh the browser source in the broadcasting software.

We haven't publicly announced all our changes, but the security improvements are discussed in a formal plan directly to Twitch. Most important, it's not possible to send-on-behalf through the extension permissions (token). There are plenty of changes we can't publicly discuss for obvious reasons.

Thank you, Pando is part of my stream family. Isn't there a way to change the name that appears in the channel's chat to the nickname we give to our mascot? The nickname I gave was Pistoleta, but when he speaks in chat, Pando appears. @@cvs-gaming

@@pistolado15 this is a request we get often, but the Twitch development restrictions don't allow us to make the name dynamic. So we have an active uservoice thats open. Fix it. Twitch will review our security problems, and after they approve, Pando will be back.

The idea of another streamer's pet hanging out in the same pet café is nice. It could share/boost/increase the experience with new interactions, right?. We just need to find the right way to do it. Unfortunately it's not allowed for us to collaborate/advertise with different brands without the help of Twitch directly. We did it once before with Twitch x Uber Eats and Pando in Germany and that was a great collab. So it depends if we get another opportunity, but it will always be initiated by Twitch.

Our goal is to have a pet for everyone so eventually a parrot will be added. There will be a community event organized on Discord to decide the next pet.

When you press "authorize" in Pando's configuration page, the next page will show a summary with everything we need to manage the pet, including communication about updates/errors/announcements etc (email).

Everything is possible, and someday we will be able to add more pets. Before that, we are improving experience by adding new features.

I just pictured having a giraffe as a pet, but the head is out of frame :D It's a good idea! However we get great ideas almost on a daily basis (like a hotdog as a pet). Ikr. We host community events so everyone can share them. The Ghost was our latest result from that. Keep an eye out on announcements in our Discord.
